There is legislation called The Major Richard Star Act that continues to gain traction in both chambers of Congress and both sides of the aisle. However, even though the bill has over 300 co-sponsors in the House and over 70 in the Senate, it is stalled out while tens of thousands of service members continue to suffer daily.
