Why do people go to concerts and then not shut up? Grrr. I was waiting for the same reaction as what Jonathan got on BGT but....however, all of us know that Jonathan is one of the Greats. Finally, a song to match his voice. I watched it many times when you first posted it, still amazing. I would dearly love to hear him in Thousand Oaks this September, but I live far away now. I dont understand how people can be so rude as to talk during an artist presentation. Individuals pay to see an artist perform , not listen to distractions in the audience. Some people have only one chance to see their beloved artist performance. Some people are ill , in wheel chairs or its their last dying wish to see some one this fantastic. My favorite tenors were Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras...in that order. Pavarotti's loss was tragic...but God has sent us Jonathan who proved he was humble, capable of commitment and loyalty, and blessed with a cherubic, angelic face and a voice that was gifted directly from GOD.

He's missing a key point of why the audience liked Jonathan and it's that he remained true to his duet partner: he didn't ditch her.

Jonathan Antoine is 19 at this point, and there is a great deal of power as well as beauty in his voice. There is a touch of the Mario Lanza in the way he sings, check out Lanza's early recordings aged just 19 which are somewhere on KZbin. It is the similarity in levels of power and passion in the voices, albeit that they are different in many ways. I hope that by now Jonathan has learned to speak Italian as this will help him to sing in it even better than he is already doing. And to think there were nasty kids at his school who used to pick on him, which s often the fate of any British child who dares to be drawn to the highest art forms.

Carla, Jonathan's vocal coaches have recommended he wait until his voice has further matured before attempting that song as it could damage his voice if he's not ready. It will be worth the wait though, he will be incredible singing it.
