We love you Jonathon! I pray that people remember to separate you from the messiah. You can’t be someone’s savior if you too need a savior. I have struggled for years with boundaries with others. I find a friend in someone and I accidentally let them to far into my life. I can’t be someone’s everything so I’ve had a lot of heartbreaking conversations that left me feeling bad because I hurt someone without meaning too. I so much want to resemble Jesus that I forget that Jesus had boundaries. He gave a lot of his time to others but he also went away by himself to meditate and to pray. He needed that time away because of how overwhelming it was. I see that in stardom. Everybody knows you and everyone wants time with you. But that’s literally impossible. And what’s really hard is that yes people look at you and have a mental image of Jesus, who they have always wanted to see but can’t physically see. I hope that people are respectful of you and applaud how you’ve handled all the stress and promoted Christ first. And from the beginning you’ve never claimed to be the real Jesus. Continue fighting to be closer to the real Jesus so that we see more of his qualities through both your acting and life. And if you make a mistake just know I and my family will still respect and love you. Not only as an actor but as a brother in Christ!

Can you imagine the stress and anxiety we put this man through every time someone runs into him in his private life? I doubt very much that he's returning on a horse with a flaming sword. By saying "When he said he would return, he meant that the internal Christ of each one will return," YOU are putting your own spin on things. Hope the actor remains grounded and will not let fame go to his head. There’s so much danger there when a person becomes famous let alone from portraying our Lord, Jesus. What a great opportunity he has to think so much about Jesus, and try to emulate his life. If all of us could think of him as much as he has to because of his job, it would be a better world. It must be a really big burden for him, but also an amazing gift.

This documentary is achingly touching. A few moments that really impacted me: the part where Francis Chan says he would be too afraid to take on the role of Jesus. The part where Jonathan breaks down after climbing the Scala Sancta on his knees. The part where Sheila E. describes how she believed she was super woman when she was young and had to suffer tragedy to learn the truth. The part where Alice Cooper says his manager advised him his career was over when he turned to Christ. The horrible/hilarious moment when Jonathan realizes he has a store security tag in his new coat jacket just as he's about to meet the Pope. But the scene that truly broke me was at the end, when Jonathan's video diary follows his moment of final surrender. Beautiful. Oh - and the funniest part. Jonathan with his bestie giving us a California surfer dude version of Jesus performing miracles: "Boom!" Hilarious. Highly recommend.

Honestly I sometimes picture him when I’m praying to Jesus, not on purpose, but because Jonathan’s portrayal of Jesus has left such an impact on me and made me feel closer to Jesus. He’s taken a huge risk portraying Jesus in The Chosen. He’ll be typecasted for it. And that’s a death knell to an acting career. Will he be able to play a bad guy next? Will he be able to do risqué scenes in other movies? It’s difficult and it’s frightening. It won’t be easy to for him to shed the role off when a lot of people recognize him as the actor who did a great job of humanizing and making Jesus relatable. How can you come out of that? I pray God will help and guide him. May He continue to give him strength and resilience. God knows his name, knows who he is and knows his heart. I’m sure He will guide Jonathan through it all.

How can he only be acting? I mean, seriously, I can watch episodes and feel nothing but love in my heart for Jonathan. It’s nothing sexual either, pure love. I was never extra religious, I believe in God. But this man has brought me closer, how is that possible without divine intervention? That’s my opinion

When I watch the chosen, I don't see a man, I see God working through a man . All actors present the Gospel as it should be in a meaningful manner. God chose these actors to bring his message to the world, just as he did in biblical times. So, whatever manner we chose to accept the word of God being spoken through these humans, let it minister to our souls, and remember these individuals are God vessel.

This in a way sad to see other human beings not able to separate reality from fiction 💔 😢 God is only one and holy pure and mighty. Jonathan is doing an amazing job as an actor but he is not Jesus, Jesus is with all of us who believe in Him. But I'm very thankful as a christ follower to see tv shows that represents the faith 🙌 🙏🏼 that change history, lives and the miracles that The Lord's still performing till today.

Jonathan and all his followers were very well chosen by Dallas, his wife and his team and the most great and powerful one, God, why do I feel that? Their acting pass to us a feeling that we're living every moment right next to them, and being transformed by God. I saw the 1st 3 seasons like....a desilion times(I know the word doesn't exist 😜) and I always cry in Jesus teachings and not just crying is a overflow energy crying, is beyond anything and I always learn something different every time, which never happened with other christ movies or series, is the way they do it, praying before, asking God to inspire them... I believe there's a reason why they do that, they want to be vessels of god to move people and change them and God is doing it, through them all. Thank you Dallas and all involved and specially jesus (Jonathan), what an amazing accomplishment. God bless you all 🙏🙏🙏

Love how you play Jesus, Jonathon. When I watched Season one of The Chosen when it first came out & I saw the scene with Mary & Jesus placed his hand on Mary’s hand. I said out loud, “That’s Jesus!” Before they even showed you playing Jesus. Just the way his hand was placed on her & he said, “That’s not for you.” He said it with such authority & compassion ( or you did) Then when the scene unfolded outside and he called her name & healed her, I said out loud, “That’s my Jesus!!” Right away I identified with the way you played Jesus ( with Dallas’ directing). I have loved watching the rest of the series over & over again! My husband too! Thank you for being humble & true to your Lord & Savior Jesus Christ in honoring Him as you play this role with the feeling of responsibility! It shines through. Just finished watching all 4 episodes of this Docuseries, of Jonathan and Jesus, on Amazon Prime. The effect is what always happens, when Jesus speaks through his various people, not just Jonathan... LOVE: love for our Creator, Jesus, and people. My prayer: please Holy Spirit, do in me and all your people, what Jesus promised you would do: "take Jesus' words and reveal Him to us."

I think people are so yearning & aching for their Savior to return or those that need a Savior look at Jonathan as close as they can get at the moment. Jesus is working through him so they feel Gods Spirit & he looks like Jesus from what people have perceived Him to look like as well. I really like The Chosen series, and I’ve seen a lot of people who says that this series is bad for catholic people and they say that this series humanize Jesus. But in my opinion it depends on the point of view of every person, I saw the chosen and I thought that that’s a Jesus that shows more feelings , so people loved him, but let’s not forget that he is not the real Jesus, he is Jonathan Roumie and he plays our savior Jesus on a series, this series could be a form for us to get closer to God, but don’t forget that even if our Jesus isn’t like that Jesus, we still are going to love him , because we don’t have to forget that he is God, he is omnipotent , he is glorious and he loves with an exigent love that requires faith and trust, he lived here like a human for us, and now he reign with glory but he doesn’t forget his love. In conclusion, this things could be a form to get closer to our loved Jesus, but if this type of things aren’t “used” correctly, they could transform into something that makes us forget the Bible or the real Jesus, but don’t be afraid, remember that even in your worst moment, our dear Jesus is there, loving you even if you don’t see or fell him ❤ blessings 🫶
