Two summers ago a Bulgarian woman stayed at my place while attending a national Seventh Day Adventists conference. She was a friend of a friend, so I had no problem opening my home to her. This woman was a real sweetheart, a vegetarian who was an expert in iridology, deep tissue massage and reflexology. I will never forget that week. I learned so many things about myself and how having someone drop in from out of the blue can be profoundly beneficial. Like having a benevolent visitor from another planet performing an intervention.

your scalp, back, and feet tend to be very connected to the rest of the nerves in your body (notwithstanding one's "chi" or whatever that is). That's why having massages and reflexology on any of those parts of your body makes you SO relaxed after it's done. We hold a lot of stress in those parts of our bodies, so massaging to release all that stress is very pleasurable and relaxing indeed. Most of us don't even realize how much stress we hold in our bodies until it's released. That's why many people actually cry when getting massages or chiropractic care...they don't know how bad things are/were till the pain is finally gone.
@alexminsky1 Жыл бұрын
Just because something soothes and relaxes us doesn’t mean it’s healing. I like foot massages and I get them as much as I can but I never think of them as a way of relaxing or healing my organs.
@gingerfarm27112 ай бұрын
@@alexminsky1 I think it's pseudo-science as well. But a reduction in stress, does cause the rest of the body to function better. It's healing with extra steps.

I was researching massage and this came up. Totally identify with Jonathan's pain coz I live in Singapore and get foot reflex regularly. Some hurt, some don't. It partially depends on the therapist but they always tell you MORE WATER. I remember one guy calling out my ailments in the shop, e.g. "you don't let all your pee out - you stop when you've still got pee. Relax and let it all out". In Southeast Asia they really aren't squeamish about such things. To Chinese and Thais talking about your bladder, etc., is like talking about your car...

Hard massage. I did this in a large salon in Singapore. At first I had a back massage, it was nice, I bought ten sessions. The next morning I could not move. None of my family members, looking at me, did not want to go for a massage instead of me. The salon offered a foot massage instead of a back massage, as you have on video. I easily agreed, because I saw in the salon a lot of people who had this massage at the same time, they just read newspapers and looked relaxed and calm. I alone could not sit still, like you, I was in great pain. They told me that I eat a lot of meat, that's my problem. But this is not true. I didn’t feel anything special except pain after the session. I do not believe in these stories about a specific massage here and in other Asian countries. Another thing is the chiropractor ... he really does wonders. Or a professional massage therapist.

To me it seemed lazy after all that time, but it also shows a great amount of dedication despite taking a long time. I was complimenting and criticising them, it's not personal at all. It's still nice to see that they still uploaded it after 6 years because I sure wouldn't do that after that amount of time. However it still took them over half a decade. I don't hate them nor am I angry.
@acumennova39295 жыл бұрын
Sashidemedia I suppose you do. Great video.
@acumennova39295 жыл бұрын
@Dzarif Hakimi Also, I know it may sound like I don't like their videos, but I really do. I watched the full segment before made that comment and I loved it. They clearly put a lot of time and passion into the editing to the point where all the good content is displayed and all the "filler" is gone. The editing is so good that I'm surprised they don't even have 10K Subscribers yet, I've seen channels with millions of subs go for length of video rather than quality and that's why I love that video. I genuinely enjoyed it and it definitely deserves more views that 86,000. I'm simply disappointed and a little upset that I couldn't watch the full segment years ago like I did this video. So I felt that a little criticism would be justified but I also mentioned that the fact that they still uploaded after all this time was dedication at it's finest. They could've simply moved on and forgot about it but instead they decided to acknowledge the fans and upload a full segment to a video that was 6 years old, I sure wouldn't upload a full segment after all that time.
