I like Bobbi Brown but yet again, the assumption is women my age always need balms and oils and giant sticks of moisturizer. I’m just sitting here waiting to give my money to the first makeup brand to realize that some older women have very oily skin and need good products that stick to oily, aging skin without causing breakouts.

Yes!! My skin seems like it gets more oily the older I get. This video is the first one I've seen that the foundation hadn't separated and looked decent. In the others, the foundation has a half inch of oil floating around on top. That's way too much of a "glowing" look for me.

IDK, personally I really like this brand!!

The Jones Road beauty line literally gave me the confidence to leave my house. I’m 50, and I’ve been watching Jessica for years, since her decluttering days at her parents house. During the height of the pandemic, we lost the family business and my confidence was nonexistent. I also follow a very low-fat diet because I don’t have a gallbladder and my skin looked like it belonged to a significantly older woman. This line of cosmetics has been the ONLY line to make me look and feel attractive, and I usually do not ever feel attractive, that’s just my nature. The products look lovely on your youger skin, Jess, though in my early 60's with dry skin I might be her "target audience"---but who knows? I'm going to pass on the whole line, I think. My skin is good and my face isn't too scary, so I achieve a no-makeup look by ... going without makeup. ;) Sunscreen, maybe a light dusting of powder on potentially sweat-prone areas, and lipbalm. Maybe I've just become more of a curmudgeon, but if I'm going to look pretty much bare-faced, I can do it for a lot less than Bobbie is charging. As for you, you look stunning in pretty much everything. Love your videos, love your reviews, and wishing you and your beautiful family all the best.

This was a great video, I just it to my sister as i was trying to explain the miracle balm-which I use everyday! Except I use "bronze" all over my face to tone down the redness and give myself glow and look just sunkissed. I will move to one shade lighter for winter. I adore this product because I use it under foundation, on top of foundation and alone. I do have combo skin that needs a fair amount of moisture but still want to look youthful. The foundation I pulled from my line up until winter but after watching you apply it, I may play a bit more this summer. I kept it (they do have a retuen policy if you are on the fence) because i felt like at the end of the day-my skin looked GOOD. Not full coverage makeup - and I am blotchy but somehow the miracle blam evens me out. Thanks for the review. Hi Jessica and ladies mentioning the L’Oréal whipped foundation? If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Lift foundation. Because she didn't own Bobbi Brown after I think 1995 - Estee Lauder owned the majority when she sold it, so anything she created under her own name thereafter was property of Estee Lauder, not BB herself. If she wanted to add something to the market, and wanted to make the money on it herself, she was better off waiting to leave EL in 2016, waiting on her non compete to end in 2020, and launching what she wanted to.

Not sure how I feel about a balm for heels and face. How do you apply without transferring feet germs to your face?

Thanks for testing this and for such an open minded and detailed review! To be honest everything seemed pretty meh to me, they might have a place in very specific circumstances but they are definitely not worth the extortionate price tags! So I'll be giving it a miss. Thank you for saving me money! ❤️

Jessica, I happen to like what you did with the eyeliner. It turned out well in spite of your feeling that it wasn't intense enough. Please tell me what brush you used to diffuse and shape the line - I think you used an eyebrow brush (spoolie on the other end), but I'd love to know which one. It seemed to work well - I'm searching for a great eyeliner brush that will work well with powder eyeshadow (dry rather than wet). But I also like using pencils and going over the line with a brush. Doesn't matter if it's and eyebrow brush, just as long as it's effective. Really like the look you came up with. This is the first video of yours that I've watched and look forward to more :)

I live in a small town with not alot around so I love these types of videos! A fun idea for more like this (I do this for something different at work) but depending on how often you want to do these type of videos (1 a month 1 a week ECT) you would do a brand that starts with the letter of the month, so like for June Joan's road would work perfectly! And so on,

Have you tried the L’Oréal age perfect foundation balm? I’m wondering if they’d be similar.
