Hello, great video! I was wondering if it is possible to make this sock longer so that it is a knee high?
@JonnaMartinezCrochet2 жыл бұрын
That would require increasing and decreasing to fit over the calf, or making many more ribbing rows. I would just look for knee high pattern instead of trying to modify this one. Thank for watching and commenting!

There is a mistake in your pattern. You said that after the 8 rows we should have 54 stitches. But after making the sock 5.5/6 inches long, you say we should have 48 stitches. I am trying to follow this tutorial but I have had to undo a lot of rows at this point and I am getting frustrated. Please check your pattern. BTW: Just want to say I love these socks. I will be making a lot of them.
@Debbie.Nicosia5 жыл бұрын
Azararubie I just discovered the same mistake but found it in the written pattern. It should be 48. I kept trying to adjust the pattern to somehow come up with 54. HAHAHA it was a hot mess. All better now. I also love this pattern and am planning to make a lot of these. So much easier than knit.
@yliberal63555 жыл бұрын
Debbie Nicosia Knitting you would have to use four double ended or do that magic loopy thing that I don't like!!
@taurusarmas38225 жыл бұрын
@@yliberal6355 In the 60's my Grandma used to knit what she called bed socks for veterans that were in the hospital. She used white yarn and just 2 plain ole knitting needles. I don't get why things need to be so complicated with a cluster of plastic circular wires and multiple double sided needles etc etc just to make a pair of socks.
