Jonny is not known to a lot of folks, but he is truly a master of both singing the blues and playing the blues guitar. He is a rare talent!

I love cranking this up in the garage on my old school Pioneer system. Had it so loud, the clock fell of the wall and my beer went flat.

This young man plays that Guitar like he was born playing it! His voice is bluesy and he's already admired by some of the great's like Eric Clapton and BB King among others!

When I first saw him at his first appearance at the house of blues Hollywood...I saw a little kid so young and think I could see his arm Pitts and the voice of a 40 yr old..it came to my mind wow the new Amadeus of our time..I was impressed

I saw him in St Louis. Small venue and he was 16-17 barefooted and wonderful. My husband introduced me to his music. At first I thought he was an old black musician. Quite a show.

I got tickets last minute to see his acoustic show at a small venue in LA and it was literally life changing. He is not of this world.

@Stefbusta - Exactly, I am listening to this whilst typing, and getting the shivers. His first CD when he was 14. Bloody brilliant.

For the life of me, I can't understand why he isn't a household name. I was there when he came out with Lie To Me, and have been waiting for him to be a huge hit ever since then, but it's like the industry snuffed him out. He should be waaaaaay more popular than he is.

Never seen this. AMAZING! Forget his guitar virtuousity, where does that damn voice come from?

The expressions on his face and in his voice cause me to worry that he's really torn up inside with an emotional breakdown in the works. ...kind of scary!

Dead wrong? I'm guessing you thought I was bashing J.L? Far from it! Seen him play 6 times and met him twice. (Super nice guy!) Obviously you know far more about the blues.... Please explain the blues to us idiots so we understand...

This guy is somewhat good, but nowhere near an ace, like Gary Moore or Tinsley Ellis... One has to be really selfconscious to mention them on one page. By some time i get even irritated by seeing him overplaying that "painful blues feeling". Real blues is something else. Something that Moore, Ellis, Buddy Guy, BB King and so many other great artists had. Blues is not at all about jumping and running all around the stage like a fkin idiot.
@naradaian3 жыл бұрын
Like moore he was in a-band by 14 & pro by 16. Born to it and has had an exploited life to give him his blues
