If you wanted Jonny to die early of drug/alcohol abuse, then yeah, it's bad that his wife took his "grit" away. But, he has a wonderful life, 3? kids, and his music is ever evolving. I'm just glad that he's still making great music, and has the life that he loves. Don't hate on his wife. Jonny is doing what Jonny wants in life, and I admire him for everything he is.

Such great talent in such a young musician. He has a lot more to give no matter how he does it. An Old soul in a young mans body. His path is illuminated already by his wonderful ability and God given gifts of music. Ive been a fan since he first entered the scene, and will remain forever a fan of Jonny Lang.

I just went to a concert of his last weekend. It was the 'BOMB', such a great singer. I adore his music, all the types.........rock, blues, even his gospel and I don't listen to gospel. But he makes such beautiful MUSIC..........mmmmmm

@delataylor I think you mistook my comment. I've seen him about 15 times since 2004. Last year most recent. I just wish I could have seen him back then too! He's a much better singer now, and his set is way more diverse. I just missed the sheer "grit" part of his career.

All guitarists and singers have good points and all have areas where they are not as good . I don't think anyone on here ought to be ripping on him or his wife or his music. I'm sure that if one of us was under the microscope we would be told of our short comings , our mistakes, our failure, too bad. If we could all pull together in love and help others become successful, build up their character, we should be happy when we see others succeed in life. Say good things to people and be there to lift someone up when they need it. I'm just ramblin , need a caring person to help others, and we can overcome this division in our lives.

@easleyrider It costs $50 (+/- $30). He's like 30 years old and still not doing heroin. He hasn't lost his voice or passion. You write as though you speak of the Allman Brothers back with Duane and Dickey or something. Go see him, he's still at this stage. He's still too young to have vocals like this and he's a little better at the guitar now. :-)
