A couple of months ago I had a poll on Twitter asking about 3 of the most requested songs/games you were most wanting to hear, and Fire Emblem tipped the scales with over 40% of the vote, so I figured this would be an awesome way to end the month of May.... but it's actually June xD. It took me a bit longer on this one than I had originally anticipated, but that's ok.
When it comes to overall franchises, FE has been one of the most requested here for a while. The specific songs requested have been rather mixed, with the exception of Together We Ride. That would've been the obvious choice, but here at GaMetal, we only do obvious things occasionally, so we'll save TWR for later.
Instead, I decided to go with one of the more requested of the FE songs, Id (Purpose). I thought it'd be a pretty interesting piece to do.

someone who's feeling merciful on that puny Grima LOL on my first playthrough I paired him up with Lissa and along with Owain (fatality + Galeforce) they soloed the game

Levels are completely irrelevant in this game, as when you move to an advanced class you go back to level 1 but your stats stay the same / get buffed. Also even after you hit level 20 you can still reset your level to 1 to try and get more stats.

Each song begins with "You are the oceans gray waves destined to seek life beyond the shore just out of reach" then the final map songs shift to match which story you are playing. "Sing with me a song of conquest and fate" etc. There is more to it than that as well to the original song, but you dont hear all the lyrics unless you either watch her dance or listen to "the end of all (land, sky or below and the dlc only waves")

Sure, everyone knows "Together, We Ride" as the most iconic Fire Emblem theme (if only because of Smash), but for me... THIS is the song that comes to my mind when I think of Fire Emblem... Of course, that's mostly because Awakening is the only FE game I've actually played, and the iconic "Together, We Ride" isn't even IN Awakening. I guess that I just have a more emotional connection to this song.
