I’m a new sub & don’t know much about Bali. I’m 68 & retired & have been going to the Philippines for the last 5 yrs. I usually stay in the Philippines around 30 days once a year. So I’ve been to the Philippines 4 times. I started going to the Philippines because I had a young girlfriend. We’re not together anymore but I still go to the Philippines. Last year I rented a car & even took the car on a ferry to a neighboring island. I generally stay around Cebu island. Got to swim with the whale sharks last visit. I’m a certified scuba diver & I try to scuba at least one day a week. I also fly drones. I use DJI drones & still using the mavic pro drone. I’ve been flying drones around 6 yrs. I’m thinking of moving to the Philippines but just not sure since I have a home in Ohio USA. I live alone & a single man with no children so I’m free to do anything I want. I’m not wealthy but have enough $$ to do most anything I want. I’ll follow you & wish you good luck traveling around SE Asia. I’ve been to ElNido I seen you talking about that when you were in Sirago . I plan on going to Sirago on my next visit to the Philippines. I’m hoping to stay 6 months on my next visit. See if I want to truly live there. I’m a military veteran also but that doesn’t help me in the Philippines. Here in the USA I get free healthcare. Great healthcare & it’s all free which is hard to beat. I am thankfully in good health at 68 & plan on staying healthy. I did have a nasty scooter accident in ElNido & broke my collarbone. There wasn’t any medical facilities to get treatment so I just ruffed it out, even went scuba diving with a broken collarbone. Well again good luck to you & I’ll be following you. Stay safe & blessings to you. 🙏🍀😊✌️
