This is very true. Pride DEFINITELY comes before a fall and a perfect example is life. EVERYTHING that someone does, it comes back to them eventually, especially when they don’t believe it will, and if not them, their children/ family. He is absolutely right about that.

He completely contradicts himself and does not practice what he says in this video. The thing about most guys is they have periods where they think they are a God and Jordan is a prime example. He has the nerve to refer to any other human being as weak when he put himself in a coma from drugs.

Proverbs 6: 16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: 17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Proverbs 8:13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. Proverbs 11:2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. Proverbs 13:10 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom. Proverbs 14:3 In the mouth of the foolish is a rod of pride: but the lips of the wise shall preserve them. Proverbs 15: 25 The LORD will destroy the house of the proud: but he will establish the border of the widow. 26 The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the LORD: but the words of the pure are pleasant words. Proverbs 16: 5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. Proverbs 16: 18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. 19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud. Proverbs 21: 4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin. Proverbs 21:24 Proud and haughty scorner is his name, who dealeth in proud wrath. Proverbs 28: 25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat. 26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered. Proverbs 29: 23 A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

Psalm 10: 2The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined. 3For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth. 4The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. Psalm 12: 3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: Psalm 17: 10They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly. Psalm 31: 17 Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave. 18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous. 19 Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! Psalm 36:11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me. Psalm 40:4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Psalm 59:12 For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak. Psalm 73:6 Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment. Psalm 94: 1 O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. 2 Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud. Psalm 101:5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer. Psalm 119: 21 Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments. Psalm 119: 50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me. 51 The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet have I not declined from thy law. Psalm 119: 68 Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes. 69 The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart. Psalm 119: 77 Let thy tender mercies come unto me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight. 78 Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts. Psalm 119: 85 The proud have digged pits for me, which are not after thy law. Psalm 119: 122 Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me. Psalm 123: 3Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt. 4 Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud. Psalm 138: 5 Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD. 6 Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off. Psalm 140:5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.

@@martinaakervik No, wise people aren't perfect, but they don't make mistakes ALL the time. I think he's speaking of a mistake that would be his undoing in the public eye (lying, cheating, etc.). These mistakes can certainly be avoided. That said, I do believe we regularly make mistakes in the general sense (otherwise humanity would be perfect, and it is not), but I don't think we HAVE to as often as we do...
