@@halestormtv Joe sang with the Enid, and has been solo now for quite a few years. I first saw him on the Dust tour, and his voice blew me away, as well as his stage presence. He's worked with Jordan Rudess recently which is how he got to CTTE.

i dont understand a comment like this here. this is clearly a one off thing, probably even unrehearsed. petrucci wrote the thing. of course the writer/composer will play it better with his own mark/stamp. charlie is a monster player as haken is a monster band. i dont think petrucci could play some of charlies riffs

@@shaunsteele6926 yes, his voice is more pleasant than James' voice nowadays, but his execution doesn't fit the song. he can't stop syncopating and adding blues licks and trillers to his lines. yeah the style of the song is sort of gospel-ish, but the lead vocal line isn't like that.
