Here's 2 fun facts: Michael was the leading scorer in 165 of 179 playoff games . He also lead both teams in scoring in 36 of 37 playoff series. Let that sink in.

This is why Nick Wrong and Shannon Not so Sharpe can't be taken seriously. They both said Jordan beat a washed up Magic past his prime. They just hate the fact Jordan was that good.
@TheRealMindCrime
@TheRealMindCrime 5 ай бұрын
Oh for sure. They'll ignore the facts to spin their narrative. They also say jordan failed on the wizards cuz they didn't win it all. Fact is Jordan was already hands down the greatest of all time. He just came back to help the young team and also scratch that itch to compete again. He wasn't supposed to win more snd didn't need to. The difference with their goat is that Lebron only has 4 and is still building super teams to try and catch Jordan but can't. Jordans final years were fun and casual. Lebrons are desperate

@@TheRealMindCrimeexactly people always want to bring up the wizards years but he wasn’t there to win championships that wasn’t a championship team. He just wanted to help them out cause they were a young team. And not only did Jordan play great and just wanted to have fun but his last year he was dealing with knee problems. like you said and everyone knows this.when he joined the wizards he had nothing to prove he just wanted to help the team out and just have fun. Lebron on the other hand won’t retire because he’s just trying all he can to catch up to Jordan, which he never will

And what what people won’t understand Leslie LeBron those one two more championships and make it six that would be his 22nd and 23rd season and that won’t make him anywhere near Jordan cause for Lebron to I accomplished that He would have to build a super team like always and it would take him 23 seasons to win 6 while Jordan did it in less time. If Jordan didn’t retire in 93 the would have had 4 and five in 94 and 95z

All these Jordan haters always gonna say that Jordan beat it all the Lakers team which obviously they warrant because they were in their prime and then they beat the Pistons, which were also old which they just came off championship in 1990 and were the defending champs. How come Lebron couldn’t win a championship until he had to run away to Miami and play with two all star players. Jordan stayed in one team and the team just kept getting better each year. Why can’t LeBron do that? Why can’t he just stay on one team and help them get better? Why does he have to keep hopping to whatever team has the greatest chance of winning the championship?

That’s because LeBron is one of the most overrated dunkers of all time. He basically only has one dunk cause he’s more power than finesse. Jordan had the perfect combination of both. That’s why he could go strong to the rim or just lay it in softly without any hesitation (and his layup package is easily better than LeBron’s dunk highlights). It’s really not even close.

Contrary to what many people think, the easiest series of Chicago's six championships was the '96 Finals. The series where Jordan is said to have had his worst game is actually the easiest series to win because it was a tremendous defensive matchup of two strong defenses that hurt Jordan's stats, but also because Seattle's offense self-destructed with having spent too much energy on defense. If we look closely at the '96 Finals, you'll notice that Jordan was the only player on the offense that really did anything. It was a Finals where Jordan's stats were down compared to his other five Finals, but the scoring support from Chicago's other players - from Pippen to Kukoc to Harper to Kerr - was so minimal that it's hard to think of him having bad game when watching the game.

So basically this finals could be compared to Warriors vs Cavs back in 2015. Steph was the MVP and Lebron was still considered the best player in the league by many. Lebron had a stacked team and the Warriors were a relatively young team. And I'm pretty sure no one thought the Warriors were gonna win that one. Unless you rooted against Lebron 😂 But yeah, Jordan DIDN'T play a "washed" Magic Johnson

Def agree with the Cavs being heavily favored. In fact...odds-wise...that was the biggest upset in nba finals hostory. Fun fact, Lebron has LOST 3 of the top 5 biggest upsets in NBA finals history. Mavs, Spurs, and 2015 Warriors. And they were so lopsided odds-wise, because he continuously stacked his teams.

To me, the best team MJ’s Bulls faced in the Finals was the 1997 Utah Jazz, but the most-talented, in my view, was the 1992 Portland Trailblazers. Honestly, though, all the teams they faced were great teams. The fact that the Blazers have the worst record of any of those teams and won 57 games is pretty impressive.

Magic was runner up for MVP that year and had won MVP two years in a row previous. He was only 31 (MJ won his last chip at 35) Magic’s stat line in 1990-91: 19.4 / 12.5 / 7.0 His career stat line: 19.5 / 11.2 / 7.2 Divac had better numbers in 1991 Finals that the Lakers lost than Kareem did in the 1988 Finals they won: Divac averaged 18.2 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in 5 games in the 1991 NBA Finals. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar averaged 13.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 7 games in the 1988 NBA Finals. And yes, MJ guarded him in the Finals… “After reviewing the game film from the 1991 NBA Finals, it turns out the Jordan - not Pippen - guarded Magic Johnson for nearly 85-90% of that series. The exception was the first half of Game 2 and the 2H of Game 3. Out of 24 playoff series, Michael Jordan - not Scottie Pippen -guarded the better perimeter player more often. Specifically, Jordan guarded the better perimeter player during 13 playoff series, while Pippen guarded the better perimeter player 11 times.” web.archive.org/web/20150318000744/chasing23.com/did-scottie-pippen-always-guard-the-other-teams-best-player/

So I don’t want to hear that these players were old when Jordan came back at the same age everyone keeps sayin Bird and Majic were old And play at a high-level was considered the best player from 96 to 98 to his retirement and Won 3 more championships.

All I got to say, Jordan got lucky and he knows it, Magic Johnson had a few new teammates, and they still made it to the championship game, magic getting diagnosed with HIV, in the season of 91 and 92, save Michael Jordan's career, because there is no way that Jordan would have been able to beat magic and the Lakers, three times in a row, cuz the Lakers would have made it back and people don't remember Jordan didn't want to face magic and the Lakers in the championship game, Jordan really was rooting for Portland, and everybody forgets if it wasn't for Scottie Pippen's defense on magic, Jordan wouldn't even have that ring, bring all your stats up you want, that's fine, but I was there for the games.

Nice hypothetical, but we will never know. And MJ was the primary defender on magic for every game except g2. So pippen had very little defensive impact on magic since he barely guarded him outside g2. Doesn’t matter that MJ would rather face drexler, he still crushed magic in 1991 and then drexler in 1992. Social Media All Eyes on LeBron when he was young dumb full of cum get it... He don't get enough credit watch all his buzzer beaters More clutch than given credit by a considerable margin... Problem is Jordan won't give credit on social media to Magic Cooking him in the post 91 finals, Gary Payton, playing Exceptional defense in 96 last dance don't pass the eye test, Wilkins cooking him half the time the Hawks played bulls... Jordan social media Highlights has taken away from All the Greats And average people opinion.. he is My Goat but Multiple players would have been as well.. in his Blessed Error and circumstances FACTS
