I’m inclined to disagree with Mr Glavin on his assessment of Mr Poilievre. By all accounts, he and his fellow MPs are well aware of how dire straits are right now, and how much worse than we know that they could potentially be. Poilievre’s been ahead of the curve on the economic front for quite some time, and while he’s been treading lightly in matters of culture, he’s demonstrated a deep knowledge and understanding of the nuances of our “culture war.” There’s a strong sense that the upcoming federal election may very well be the most consequential election since Sockboy’s election in 2015. Everything about Poilievre’s campaign thus far, indicates the severity of the situation and the seriousness with which he’s addressed it. He’s managed to all but cripple federal government business as opposition leader, and that’s no small thing.
@LeeMarieHarder22 күн бұрын
Would agree. His assessment of him being our Bernie Saunders deserved an immediate reply from JBP. "Tell me why you feel that way..." Students plastered anti-Semitic propaganda all over the walls and desks, and then proceeded to scream at the guest. A respectable academic! It was so disheartening to see his distraught, as he had lost friends in the Israel-Gaza conflict on both sides. Not to mention, the 2-3 Jewish students witnessing the event were traumatized! This is only one of many events. My friends and I were dismissed from our sororities for being conservative. Trump supporters have been ridiculed during lectures. I keep hearing you say, that these proposed laws would not survive an HRC challenge. Please keep in mind that earlier this year, Emo Ontario lost an HRC challenge to not flying a pride flag. The town was fined $10,000 and the mayor was personally fined $5,000, The mayor refused to pay but his bank account was garnished. The mayor was ordered to be re-educated (take sensitivity training). Sound familiar? When arguing against bill C-16, Dr. Peterson said "If they fine me I will not pay it. If they put me in jail, I'll go on a hunger strike." But they don't have to jail you - they'll just garnish your wages and accounts. You will be powerless to stop them. We are powerless to stop them.

Dearest Dr. Peterson, I’ve been watching the Canadian news and longing for your thoughts on the current events. I think this episode was taped before the latest drama but I’m glued to the news praying that an election is called. I was so moved by Poilievre’s latest great speech. If you’d told me two years ago I would be so enamored of a Canadian politician, I would have said you were crazy. But here we are in 2024 and I revere Poilievre and wish him success. As for antisemitism, it seems to me that in my small corner, I am called to stand against it and so I am. I have written two pieces on how to fight it, for Wrong Speak: “A Menorah in my Window” and “Saving Their Lives With A Story.” I have been sickened by the way antisemitism has taken over the publishing industry and beginning to question my future in it because so many Jewish authors, agents, editors, and supporters are cruelly excluded. I have stood for and with Israel for thirty years and see no reason to drag my moorings because it isn’t fashionable to do so. And I can’t tell you how much I love and respect you for speaking up about this subject that’s so close to my heart, too. With Ruth Anne’s love ❤

On antisemitism in Canada among Muslims. You both seemed uncomfortable with the topic. According tho a recent ADL study, an overwhelmingly high percentage of populations in Muslim/Arab countries are antisemitic. Unless either Canada is able to reform those immigrants or is selecting from the minority that are not antisemitic, the conclusion is that they are. Canada is certainly not reforming anyone, in fact people are probably getting more radicalized. There is no reason or evidence to believe the 2nd assumption above.

I can not understand how the liberal party let Trudeau take them down. The back seaters should have voted with the conservatives in a non confidence vote. The next 15 years are likely to be tough here in Canada. It would be a good time to redo our voting system, our constitution, decentralize gov't and develope stronger indendant economies in each province and territory. Provinces lacking in ability to be independent should provide refining of other provinces raw material and manufacturing. We have been complacent for too long, we can blame gov't but we set the stage. And if we dont want high immigration have more than 1.33 kids. We're being replaced because we are not replacing ourselves.

That and our traditional social networks have been handicapped and the two God given genders have a hard time getting along so there's that.

So real question… Is it abhorrent to discriminate against ANY group of people for ANY immutable characteristics they happen-to-have been born with….or is it the case that it is “more-wrong” to discriminate against certain groups of people with certain immutable characteristics than it is others? Meaning are there groups of people who are “more important” TO NOT discriminate against than other groups of people? And if that IS the case, then “which groups” with which immutable characteristics would be among the group(s)where it is considered “more wrong” to discriminate against them for THEIR immutable characteristics? And if there is a group that rises to a level where it should be seen as “more wrong” to discriminate against THEM for THEIR particular immutable characteristics, then simply list what group or groups of people should be in that elevated category, and simply give the obviously-obvious reason for why such separation from the rest of the equally-important human beings across the world is warranted? In other words, what is the “calculation” or “formula” that produces an answer that is so conclusive and empirically-provable that it could compel a person to feel justified in declaring openly that it is “more wrong” to discriminate against one particular sovereign human being, and by definition, “less wrong” to discriminate against another sovereign human being based on the immutable characteristics that NEITHER has ANY control over? WHAT is THAT formula? Because I would really really appreciate a lucid answer that explains how it is “ok” and “less-bad” to discriminate against ANY human being than it is to discriminate against another human being. And how could any human who considers themselves of sound mind possibly feel qualified to even entertain the notion that “they” have the pedigree and inherent self-declared-qualifications to make such a determination about one human being over another? Where does that kind of authority come from, and how does it get to them so they know it to be so? Or is it the case that it is wrong to single out any group as being any more or any less important than another. Or does it resonate as being MUCH MUCH closer to the objective truth of truths that “no human being has any right or authorization to decide what the inherent value of any other human being is in any capacity that carries any unilaterally-consequential impact of any kind ? No group deserves their own special description that notates when someone feels they are being discriminated against for their immutable characteristics. It is simply called “discrimination” regardless of whoever is being discriminated against. There is no value in highlighting anything because discrimination based on immutable characteristics is discrimination based on immutable characteristics, plain and simple. That’s enough to make it wrong without any other qualifications. Being a “Jewish” person means nothing whatsoever when it comes to discrimination. It is a completely irrelevant detail. If a person is being discriminated against “because” they are Jewish, it is NO less or more important than anyone else who is discriminate against for those immutable characteristics that they also have no control over. We do not need to have a different word that is used for every single different act of discrimination, the word discrimination is a perfectly adequate term that is universally understood by everyone! No one gets a special word for “their” discrimination, because THAT itself “is” discrimination against anyone else. Don’t make it complicated and confusing with different words that are not relevant. Keep it simple…discrimination is just that. If you feel the need to describe your particular experience with discrimination, take all the time you need to explain as much as you feel you need to and take as long as you like, and that should be considered something sacred. Speak for yourself and speak about your experience. NO ONE’s voice should be censored. Everyone has the right to have the opportunity to be heard.

"Why didn't the Jews see this coming?" is also a question being asked by the Israeli people of its military. But in any case, why didn't Canadian Jews see this coming? While we may not have seen the violence coming, we have long pointed out that progressives, who claim to represent minorities, consistently excluded Jews from the discussion, despite the fact that Jews are likely one of the smallest minorities on Earth. Also, they were the first group to use the H to promote Victimhood and use it as a political tool and to manipulate public opinion. Do Canadians see this? No. Why?Because they have both released, and been systematically stripped of, their immunity to authoritarian careerism - Christianity. A widespread moral and intellectual lassitude followed western preferencing personal sexual predilection over truth and morality - what Bezmenov referred to as the deliberate KGB program of "demoralisation". This was very apparent to Solzhenitsyn in his 1978 Harvard speech, where he explicitly referred to the "lack of courage" being the single most noticeable characteristic that struck visitors to the west. Solzhenitsyn was dropped like a stone for this observation. Truth telling is all very well against Russia, but against US? The very thought.....

New York Times Magazine Dec 8 2015 "Terrorist groups have specifically said they are targeting Canada and Canadians. And on the subject of national security, Trudeau’s critics say he’s a lightweight and a dangerous one. Trudeau’s most radical argument is that Canada is becoming a new kind of state, defined not by its European history but by the multiplicity of its identities from all over the world. His embrace of a pan-cultural heritage makes him an avatar of his father’s vision. ‘‘There is no core identity, no mainstream in Canada,’’ he claimed. ‘‘There are shared values - openness, respect, compassion, willingness to work hard, to be there for each other, to search for equality and justice. Those qualities are what make us the first postnational state.’’"

"Regular Canadians would see their speech and conduct regulated in the same way the professional societies can regulate the speech and conduct of their members" We are facing power-obsessed sociopaths, who have made a study of where the powers of compulsion lie in our system, as well as the positions with the most leeway in decision-making (such as District Attorneys). They are fortunately few; on the other hand, their strategy of "concentrate power into choke points, and control those choke points" has given them extremely outsized influence. Subsidiarity is the real solution to this problem. If individual citizens want any power over their own lives, doing everything we can to enforce this subsidiarity (and to eject these sociopaths from all of our systems of influence and power) is urgent and essential.

What Americans who don't closely follow Canadian politics realize, is that Poilievre is the latest in a line of failed CPC leaders who specialize in pandering to whatever is popular at the moment. The difference is that Poilievre actually has an ounce of charisma and seems like a saint compared to Trudeau, who has set the bar at being possibly *the* worst politician in modern history. The truth is that the "Conservative" party of Canada is much more similar to the Democrats in the US than anything else; their voting record and ties are aligned with globalist interests, mass immigration, and they fully support abortion up to birth, LGBTQ ideology, etc. Even at the height of his popularity, Poilievre has only made the slightest of concessions on these issues when it has become popular or safe enough to do so, thanks in part to some pressure from the actual right-wing party, the PPC, which he has been co-opting ideas from. ("Canada first," "common sense.") Make no mistake, it will be an improvement under Poilievre, but it will only be switching from gay communism to liberalism. It seems likely that Canada will have to go through what the UK did with a decade of a fake conservative government before people finally seek an alternative. So be it.

Fantastic interview. I really enjoyed what Terry had to say on all topics... I just wish he was allowed to speak more freely without constantly being interrupted. Dr Peterson, when you ask a guest a question let them answer it!

Terry, Terry. Casimir DID say mass grave. more than once. And the term appears, put there by her, in the AFN agenda in December 2021. You let her off the hook. All the time.

So I actually worked at Nexen just after the acquisition - My superintendent hosted one of the CCP higher-ups in, if you can believe it, the executive camps on site. All the dude wanted to do was watch Scooby Doo and eat snacks.

Even Galvin and Peterson are a little behind here. Canada isn’t going to come unglued, it already has for anybody under the age of 45. We are being actively replaced by cheap foreigners for labour, and 40000 Canadians killed from poison drugs, people living on the street all over the country. Food banks are tapped out, Vancouver has the most expensive real rate in all of North America. Organized crime running rampant especially in BC. Any young person that has the opportunity to leave will do without much thought.
