I would love to come on your channel as a guest- I have been selling over the phone for 20 years! I started in boiler rooms in Indonesia and the Philippines, I’m now back in Manchester working as a sales coach. “You can take a horse to water but you can’t make it drink” - As a sales man / women - it’s not our job to make the horse drink !!! It’s our job to make that horse thirsty!! I know you will use this one 💪

All of the tips that you mentioned are excellent. I’d also suggest following up! Not all leads will convert on the first call or message or email or whatever channel you are using. Regular communication builds rapport but be emotionally intelligent and don’t pressure/bother them.

You're so right Jordan, this past Friday i had a meeting with the owner of a local Grill & Bar joint. He nodded away as i told him all the superpowers of Facebook Ads. After giving me a fair amount of his time, while i was still talking he got up and went to entertain one of his loyal customers and told one of the waiters to hear me out. I was so mad but soon as i got home i realized how useless my presentation was. I didn't tell him what i could do for his business. I'm actually watching this video for guidance on my presentation approach. My struggle is that i have only ever run a single page likes campaign for my local cricket club. I don't know what sort of strategies to present @ meetings. I learned FB Ads from KZbin tutorials but i just dont have any money to test Ads or buy an online course so i'm approaching business owners with no experience. My only concrete understanding is how create the Ads, Landing pages (all the technicals). I'm offering free trials because i don't know what to results to expect. Any tip for a brother?

Make them realise they need it, how it would make them feel, what problem it would solve. A problem they might not even have thought about or realised they had. 🙏🏻
@abdelrahmanshennawe35604 жыл бұрын
Well my tip, which is the only tip I can give in sales, is to know your customer, just like in marketing. We always say focus on the customer and what the customer needs. But an integral part of that is what they like to hear in a general sense, not just when you sell them something. If you're selling coaching to people who have a hard time being motivated to take action, then you need to know that just as they have trouble making other decisions, they'll have trouble buying your services, so you need to focus more on playing the role of the coach, rather than that of the salesman.

Great video mate 👍🏻 My question on this is what happens then they don’t realise they need it? I can go logical or emotional, and they still don’t seem to see any value. Even telling the story of our results and how they can make X amount more AND show it, but they still don’t want it or always say no because it’s “too expensive”. My argument is is it’s too expensive, or that the don’t even have a marketing budget, that proves they need it. The restaurants I’m working were really happy (before COVID-19) but the other restaurants I had prospected and met with to would just say “well we post in Facebook and get lots of likes and shares so we’re doing okay” or something alike. They seemed to want what I offered, but not enough to pay for it in exchange for having their time back. Which naturally, made me extremely critical of myself and my own sales techniques because nothing was working last off for me. I’m just not sure how to get around the challenge of them not knowing there are issues there, so they don’t believe they need it. Could you shine some light on this? Thanks mate!

People don’t care how much you know, until they know how much you care, Best tip- To empathise with your prospect , actually caring about them listening to their problems and digging deeper into this. Connect with the prospect personally
@JordanPlatten4 жыл бұрын
Very valuable advice! Listening deeply and actively is critical to empathy. If you're selling something and spending most of each sales call talking, you can't possibly begin to understand the customer's viewpoint. Instead, change your approach and let the customer do most of the talking, and start focusing carefully on what the customer is actually saying.

BEST TIP would probably be to ask what they think they need in the specific niche that you are offering. And then use their answer as part of their offer. Tho I'm not good at sales. dont know why Im giving out tips/
@JordanPlatten4 жыл бұрын
The questions you ask help you uncover buyer needs and desires, connect with them, and demonstrate your expertise. By asking questions, you can discover the buyer's buying process. It also allows you to qualify the sale and ensures that you and the buyer are on the same page at any given time.

Tip: Show GENUINE interest which will help you to find out in what way you/your service/your product can truly benefit them, and have confidence, but be aware of overconfidence. People can feel both if you are genuine and if you’re overconfident.

No problem....What are you looking for in a plant? Who in your household uses plants right now? Will you be using plants in your business or in your home? How much have you invested in plants previously? What kinds of goals are you trying to achieve with your plants? What would your ideal plant look like and how would that help you in your life? What are you currently unsatisfied with with about your current plants? How do you envision your life in the next 5 years if you could enjoy all of the dream plants that you've ever wanted?
