Can you do a video about the most obscure, random or strange record broken every premier league season? For example: in the 17-18 season, United were the first and only tram to beat every other team in the league and not win the league. I believe this would make a great video and I hope others agree.

A video about 7 most bizarre career move would be interesting. Kevin Keegan has to be on the list. Dude won 2 Ballon'Dors and was playing with Hamburg, which was one of the best teams in the world. In 1980 when he is still on his peak, he moved to Southampton who was in the Second Division at that time. It's like if Ronaldinho moved straight from Barcelona to Sunderland. Edit: Southampton was in the First division but still nowhere a major team. He would later join Newcastle, who was in the Second Division two years later. Thanks Von Haven.

Hey Alfie, could you do a video on the turbulent recent history of Goztepe in the Super Lig? They’re one of the Super Lig’s most well supported clubs (a bit like a Newcastle United, Sunderland or Strasbourg if you may). In the 2001/02 season, they finished seventh in the top flight, however from 2002 to 2008, they were relegated five times in six seasons, due to their inability to reduce their outstanding debt which resulted in the football club being banned from signing new players during that time. In August of 2007, a business based in Istanbul, vowed to take them back to the top flight making them one of the top five clubs in the country, but they were met with lots of suspicions from the fan base, and then they handed over the ownership to another bloke called Mehmet Sepil in 2014. Anyway, they’re back in the Super Lig as a solid mid table/weaker top half team. Why am I bringing all this up? Because apparently Abramovich is looking to possibly buy the club himself, after being sanctioned from the UK. It’s a crazy crazy story and may you could look into this, not to mention, they are not only a rare example of a club that is considered a neighbourhood club, as well as the fact that they’ve played in 3 different stadiums since 2011, but also in 1969, they became the first Turkish football team to play a semi-final of a European competition.

Man, talk about players who could have been so great but for injury. Jones most obvious, he was a ridiculous athlete with excellent technical ability, could have been england's finest. Fosu Mensah could have hit Essien levels, which is controversial sure, but he was also a ridiculous athlete with good technical ability, regularly shut down the prems top wingers when at palace and fulham. Bailly looks world class when he's fit, composure to take risks that scares people yet I've never actually seen it bite him. The amount of saving tackles he makes flying in from across the pitch when he plays with slower defenders like lindelof and particularly maguire, is always overlooked, but if there was a WAR type stat (baseball's wins above replacement) for cbs that was GABR (goals against below replacement), like some negative xg, he'd rack up full digits in those cover situations by denying clear goal scoring opportunities from miles away. Must say: Mctominay is ass and we gotta bring tuenzebe back and obv ditch magwaya

Jesse Lingard by the sounds of things cannot wait to get away from Manchester United. After having a very good loan spell at West Ham United in January 2021, I along with many neutrals expected that he would return to the Hammers but he didn't. After the completion of the Newcastle United takeover and Eddie Howe's appointment it looked very possible like he might go to the North East club, this January, but for whatever reason best known to the United board that didn't happen either. Both Newcastle United and West Ham United would surely be amongst the frontrunners for the midfielder this summer as he is out of contract and therefore free to leave.

Hey Alfie I know you get tired of reading all these comments but could you at least watch what’s happening in MLS right now with Gonzalo Higuain? #higuainout is gaining a surprising amount of traction. Especially after the shitshow that just happened this weekend. Essentially, he has played like dog so far. He sat out on the bench against the New England Revolution, previous title winners, in what was sure to be an inter Miami defeat. Inter, fucking, WON. 3-2. Hat trick. Not from their start man, FROM HIS SUBSTITUTE. Upon the second goal being scored the camera pans to the bench and while the rest of the players are celebrating the heroic comeback from Campana, Higuain is indifferent. Absolutely pathetic behavior. Pretty much guaranteed in MLS fans eyes that he doesn’t give a shit about the league, nor the club he plays for, and only cares about himself, his salary, and the parties he gets to attend in Miami. It’s a complete shitshow. It might be a turning point in the “retirement league” monicker. I doubt many more teams will follow Miami’s footsteps buying up an aging star, just for him to become universally hated by MLS fans, and seemingly on the way out for young North American talent. Let me remind you he said mls would be “like playing with a cigarette in his mouth”. Oh how he was wrong. Might not be worth a video yet but if this awful form continues this may be a major moment in the leagues history and legacy
