I don't care how safe they make race cars, tracks, safer barriers...etc, there's no way for us regular folks to imagine what it's like to crash the way these guys crash. Taking hits like that no matter how much energy the cars absorb has got to take a toll on the body. I'm a Nasvar fan, but a fan of ALL motorsports in general. I have a genuine respect for anyone who climbs into or onto a steel rocket and sends it!! Takes alot of nerve and courage!! We see him get out and give a thumbs up like all is fine, but anyone who's ever been in any kind of contact sport or any kind of wreck or whatever knows he will definitely be feeling that for a minute!! Glad he was able to walk away.

The wet conditions- the grass - saved this from being worse. I think if it were dry conditions we might have seen a Katherine Legge-type crash at the Kink.
@codymoe49867 ай бұрын
If it were dry conditions, there wouldn't have been any water on the curbing, which is what caused the rear tires to slide out in the first place. P.S. Legge went off in the same spot, in the same manner, because of a rear wing failure. Lack of a SAFER barrier and her 20 mph speed "advantage" was the difference...
