Forest Ruck Backpack thehiddenwoods...
HW Instagram for giveaway www.instagram....
This is a solo bushcraft camp.
I hike and paddle in to the wilderness, I set up camp just as the rain starts, it called for thunderstorms all night!
I show off some gear, including my new forest ruck backpack from thehiddenwoodsmen.
There is a giveaway in the video as well!
I catch and cook a bass for supper, and spend the night in a floorless shelter while in bug season.
I hope you enjoy!

Joe in the world right now when everything is literally unprecedented and falling apart, finding a new video from you is like going home. Your energy is very calm, your voice is easy to listen to and it warms my energy and helps me forget what’s going on for a moment. Please thank your wife and children for letting you go out into the wilderness so that the rest of us can find a bit of solace in what you do. My blessings to you and your family for me and my family in Kentucky USA.

Hey Joe, I'm a subscriber from central Texas and I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your channel. You are one of the only youtube personalities that I can sit down and devote my full attention to for over an hour, and it is a real pick-me-up everytime that I see you have posted something new. I would absolutely love to be able to do what you do, but down here there is little to no public land, the weather is unbearable for the vast majority of the year (either triple digit heat or cold WINDY rain), and we don't have nearly the variety of foliage and wildlife that you guys have. On top of that, I'm busy with work 70+ hours a week and don't have time to get out into the woods. Watching your content is one of the most enjoyable outlets that I have outside of work, and I am extremely grateful to see you continuing to post content. You absolutely rock man, and I wish you all the best. Never stop doing what you do

Hi joe, This is the second video I see of your camping and I enjoy. Being a 75 year old senior handicap I'm reminded of my younger days when I would fish in northern Ontario 20 miles from Kapuskasing, by Fauquier. Very good fish there and the groundhog river too. My favorite fish to eat is pike. I wish there was pike for sale here in Ottawa, now Perch is good too. Enjoy yourself Joe while your young and able. Those times fly by too fast.

Really nice bass. Good eating. I can almost smell it. Mmmmm. That’s a really nice place to camp. With the rain it’s going to be a good night to sleep. I love listening to rain on a tent. It was nice joining you, as always. Thanks.🌹🦋🌹

I used to like it a lot more myself. Being out in it far too often in every season as a flatbed truck driver made me lose my interest in it for now! I hope the rain will become the peaceful water droplets they once were to me.

Dude, the intro was very Fred Penner’s Place-like....loved it. My wife and I just brought our kids (2 and 5 years old) to Algonquin last week. They can’t get enough of getting out there and learning the stuff I can pass onto them that I’ve learned from you. Thanks for giving something valuable that can be paid forward! My kids and I appreciate it!

Most likely they would be vegan gulls. Probably couldn't do very much damage. Wouldn't have the energy.

We'll get into the info on the knapsack in "" OH look blueberries "" lol. I see we share the same attention span my Ontarian friend. Ok now back to the rest of the video , I stopped it just to write this, lol. Sweet knapsack by the way eh ? Since I'm old and don't know how to go to Instagram I won't be able to get a chance to win that awesome backpack But that's ok , as long as I'm a subscriber and get to watch your videos im a winner all day long and being Canadian also helps .

Joe LITERALLY makes my favourite videos EVER!!! They are always just pure relaxation for me, especially being someone with an extremely intense panic disorder. They fully calm me down when I'm having one. My little man Murphy comes up and starts licking me and rubbing against me so I know its about to go down, I throw one of these videos on and as soon as Joe starts talking, I start to turn things around. THANK YOU JOE!!!!!! You are doing more for people than you think! Please don't ever stop! Ive been watching since the beginning! :)
