Convincing someone that water from an small company in Austria that ISNT in the Alps should cost 4x as much as water bottle from the same company at the same source is hilarious. Just so everyone is aware, their water is bottled at 1,700 feet in a small town by a small company called Starzinger, who is just a run of the mill water company in that area. To the locals it’s just your basic cheap water.

two things for me- I don't want to buy water bottles, because aluminum is infinitely recyclable, and I'm not sure what liquid death goes for at a festival or whatever, but in my grocery store it's like a buck for a tall can, definitely not 4x the price of any other canned sparkling water. The only thing that beats it is investing in a soda stream or buying a pack of cans of kroger seltzer, but if I'm just grabbing lunch on the go, neither of those is gonna work for me.

Liquid Death is the worst tasting sparkling water out there. It's carbonated like 100 times more than the average water. But I understand it's that way to imitate a feeling of drinking beer. But for sparkling water I'd rather drink Topo Chico, San Pellegrino, Saratoga or Perrier. But can't lie their marketing is pretty elite. They got everyone sponsoring them.

I don’t think anyone picks up a beer for the very first time and loves the taste of it. Either way coffee it was that way for me. When I was a kid and all the way up until my mid 20’s I could only enjoy coffee if it had a bunch of creamer & suger or the bottled flavored creamer. Now 33 I can finally drink a cup of black coffee and somewhat enjoy the taste. I’m sure there are a lot of other things that work that way. Grapefruit is another that immediately comes to mind

Once I had tasted the other flavors of LD, I truly enjoyed it. In my part of the bay area, I haven't seen much besides the Mountain wanter and carbonated water. In LA, I had a few different flavors.

Tried their peach tea, and was not impressed. Somehow it is even weaker than Arizona. The 6 grams of sugar via agave plant is probably a big part of that. 30 calories for a 19+ FL OZ is kind of impressive but the taste isn't great. I'd rather have Lipton or Brisk. I forget if I like Pure Leaf because it has been awhile. I will say however the flavor names and funny stuff written on the cans is great.
