Back in Year 6, in the final few months leading up to the end of our final year, we'd finished out SATs and were going to be leaving to head to secondary. Our teacher would basically just do these Fighting Fantasy books with us every day because there were no tests or lessons for us to do, but we still had to be there. So we'd as a class sit and do the rolls for the stats, make the decisions for where to go together. I credit it massively with my love of D&D and becoming a writer later in life. This is such a massive nostalgia trip for me.

This is my first time seeing your content and I love it. I think another reason for why these books went down so well is your voice. You are so clear and well spoken, it is like ASMR for Fighting Fantasy books. And since reading aloud is like 90% your voice, it makes gold.

As a kid I avoided using luck because it could backfire so I didn't bother, but it's amazing watching this how often your get luck boosts, you could use one point of luck in each fight and still have luck points left by the end. Very surprising and makes me want to replay the game and actually use luck.

To any that are curious about the full boardgame type one, also by Tin Man Games, as a person who has played it a bunch of times. It is amazing. It still plays out with reading like the books but the choices you make play out on the boardgame. you select a character at the start and each has their own reason for going there, which can be failed or succeeded. Combat is played out on a tactics style board and is fun. Even more so, there are completely new areas in the game that were never in the book, approximately around 60% more content than the book ever had. I highly urge that you get it. It is amazing!

It took me so many times to finish this book back in the early 90's. Not only you had to navigate the maze, you had to find the right keys also, which meant when I found the chest, I discovered that I didn't have the proper keys. This was one reason why I prefered Lone Wolf.

Watching this two years later as a newer fan of Joshcontent. I am impressed by Josh on a myriad of subjects and opinions. His thoughts on creativity, ethics, even fashion. Not impressed why he is surprised that his chat keeps doing even percentage votes literally moments after admitting he goes out of his way to do things more often once they are pointed out as annoying. Also in first person Fallout games you can physically turn away from a person that you are in dialogue options with to then enter your menu, use status enhancing effects, and return to the dialogue in order to meet skill checks. I DO NOT KNOW WHERE THIS IS DOCUMENTED/TUTORIALIZED/EXPLAINED IN THE GAMES
