Oh a little 411 go to a culinary store and buy heavy duty chef shears..there n I t crazy expensive hold there edge hella good and will cut threw full bone,lobster 3:58 to pretty much damn near anything..ive used em to open cans before lol

The glue that R/C flyers use for canopies is excellent for attaching clear parts. It looks like Elemers white glue, but it stays a bit more flexible and dries really clear. It has good adhesion and working time. It's not such a "commitment" like hot glue. I've never had a canopy come off in flight unless I hit the ground. I've never used it in a hard plastic R/C body. But I have used it on static scale models, worked great. You can get it fairly reasonable 5-7bucks at Michaels or Hobby Lobby they call it Super Tacky. I've used it on a couple of planes including a Lazy Bee and you got to make and bend your own windshield on it and it stood up to my kinetic landings, the stuff adheres really well. And when it's dry it's really clear.

Excellent tutorial, Josh! By coincidence, I did the same thing for the rear window and the two 1/4 windows on my 1/12 Land Rover D90. I used a hand sanitizer bottle instead and the corners of the bottle were perfect for the curves on the 1/4 windows on the D90.

Always loved these ratrods, cant wait to get a body someday. I can make everything else but without a body i dont know what dimentions to use

"Not the silica gel" although not related to modeling/scale RCs, crushed up Silica gel beads make a pretty good bug repellent for areas like window frames, especially if used along side other bug repellent.

Gorilla glue guns are good and their hot gue is some of the best. I don't care for the glue but the hot glue guns and the glue sticks boy whenever you stick something somewhere its stuck 😅

I'm ready to buy a kit but I'm curious if I can take a redcat lowrider chassis they sell and combine the two and find a minitruck body that'll fit..any suggestions?

I would use super glue or model glue

Super glue goes foggy witch does add some realisum but hot glue drys quicker it can also distort the plastic. Less is more when glueing windows forsure
