I actually really love the "Oooh" setup and delivery It's a kind of risky joke, because it relies entirely on having a captive and receptive audience, if no one's listening to the wedding story or just not engaged in your storytelling, it can really flop hard. You needed to really pull the public in the scene, and that's where the emphasis on it being a small wholesome wedding comes in, because you immediately tugs on the audience's empathy, and you almost place them in the story itself with your rythm and description. And when the punchline drops, not only is it a funny story in itself, it calls back to mind the previous segment, shatters the fourth wall, and now the audience itself becomes part of the double punchline, which elevates it to another level. It was a brilliantly written joke, which depends almost entirely on your storytelling capacities, and was impeccably delivered.

I’m pretty sure Jasmine Crockett’s reading comprehension was better than MTG’s when Rep. Crockett was only in the 6th grade. It is inappropriate to be commenting on someone’s appearance during a House proceeding, but what’s wrong with wearing false eyelashes anyway. Does MTG think she is morally superior for wearing less makeup? 😂 MTG very publicly cheated on her husband with at least 2 men, but she’s the morally superior one? 😂

@@chrisrhodes2 What are you talking about? Some women wear false eyelashes almost every day and don’t look inappropriate at all. A nurse I used to work with wore them every day, because she has alopecia totalis and has no eyelashes. I never even noticed until she told me about her condition. Eyelashes come in different lengths and can look quite natural. That’s quite an ignorant comment.
