Massive props for the Pagenaud reference, he's even done interviews in character (which isn't a stretch to be honest) Also I think the invisible fire is a reference to when IndyCar ran methanol that would burn clear (before they put the dye in it) and apparently if you saw someone running around like that you had to smother the invisible flames on them.

Cup had 7 road course tracks in the calendar this year (originally 6 but Fontana was replaced by Daytona RC) and one of those tracks is COTA, so maybe Rick Ware can use the 15/53 as the wildcard ride of Grosjean if he ever wanted to do so

@@nathansheeler1663 the funny thing is, 5th gear started at something called “overdrive,” which would give you better gas mileage on the highway. Now, it’s just a normal gear, but it was called “overdrive” at one point.

It was briefly mentioned earlier in the film that Ricky either won or he wrecked, so he was way too inconsistent to ever contend for a championship. Since Ricky's career started in the late 90s, he would have raced under the Winston Cup points format and the original Chase format (2004-2006).

Idk if you'll be interested in doing a review on this movie but I'll recommend it anyway. It's called Pegasus, it's a Chinese rally movie about a racing driver who's trying to make a comeback after five years of being on the sidelines. There's some humor in it, but the racing is for the most part pretty realistic and fun to watch.

For people not 'Murican Shake n' Bake is a processed breading used when roasting chicken or pork chops. You put it in a bag and then add the meats shake the bag of meat/carbs and then but them on a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and then cook it. Hence the shake and bake. Cept its Shake 'n Bake
