I love to hear Joshua Bassett sing man he has a great voice haven't heard this song though love how people write about what they are going through in their songs tells you what is going on in the song interesting song I'm liking it though these sort of songs or emotional and feel for them and what they are going through interesting song by Joshua enjoy the reaction 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

thanks for reacting to crisis!! fun fact: 100% of his earnings from this song goes to mental health organizations in perpetuity, i think its really admirable that after all hes been through he still has this big heart and this initiative to help people and he is been doing this for a while now, he seems to be such a genuine guy, i admire and look up to him so much, love ur reactions!! cant wait to watch ur reaction to secret, that song is my second favorite from the ep. ALSOO i would love to see u react to only a matter of time by joshua bassett, i truly recommend to react to the live perfomance first cause it hits way harder

So Olivia and josh have been co stars on hsmtmts since 2019 and basically that rumored relationship was rumored to happen late 2019 to early 2020. The blonde girl involved was Sabrina Carpenter who he dated from around June of 2020 to sometimes last year. You reacted to her song skinny dipping. Now driver’s license came out January of 2021 right. Josh at the time just turned 20 and Sabrina was still 21. Olivia however was 17 turning 18 in February. She supposedly dated josh when they were 16 and 18. Less than a week after drivers license came out josh was hospitalized with septic shock and heart failure that was stress triggered. The media was sending him and Sabrina death threats and completely harassing them. Josh had a song that was coming out the day he was hospitalized and everybody thought it was about Olivia but he announced it before her song and it was written in 2019. When he was hospitalized he was told if he hadn’t gone to the hospital within 12 hours he would have died and he only had a 30% chance to survive. Her album then came out in may and it caused the harassment to start up again and really bad. Sabrina had release a song called skin that was partially about the situation but everybody interpreted the lyrics to be towards Olivia when they were really towards the haters and it caused everybody to Harass her more. They never really talked about it. Interviewers were screwing josh over all the time so he stopped doing them and just kinda disappeared a little bit from social media. When he came out as queer her fans called him a queer baiter and liar. In December when he talked about being SA her fans still found a way to say the nastiest shit and it was awful and the main problem so many ppl have with her is the entire year she never tried to stop the hate while josh and Sabrina did. Even before these three songs came out he sent a message to his fans basically telling them to not send hate and Olivia to this day has said nothing and it’s very damaging bc she’s condoning that behavior. She was on set with josh when the harassment started and she was on set with him when he almost died and she seen all of that and still didn’t do anything about it. Josh unfollowed her beginning of January and they started filming season three like 2 weeks later. He said they haven’t spoken since driver’s license came out. What’s even more sad is that he praised her and her music all year last year. I recommend watching his Zach sang interview it’s so good and also read his GQ article it explains things a little more.

Yeah this is about Olivia. So is Secret, and so is Set Me Free. Set Me Free is also about other stuff but thats something he realized after he had made the song. That it Could Be about more. You should react to Sabrina Carpenter - Skin. Which is also about this situation. Cause Sabrina was his New girlfriend after Olivia. People think Joshua and Sabrina isnt together anymore, but we dont really know that. They were seen at a Harry Styles concert together in november. They came "separate" but they knew both would be there...He had security with him Though. Understandably. I would also not feel comfortable after receiving death threats. And Sabrinas Sister still works for Joshua. She and Joshua was creative directors on these 3 music videos...so thats why I am not 100% sure they are over. They either ended it as friends or they are Just keeping a VERY low profile. As low as possible.

Josh and Sabrina did breakup sometime last year last time he liked her posted was in September and the last time he liked her sisters post was august. They only said hi to each other at the Harry concert bc Sabrina went with Corey and somebody else and josh went with tommy. Sabrina is living is New York as of right now and has been since like September and josh just moved back to LA in December bc he’s filming until April. I’m pretty sure they’re still close and everything bc Sarah liked Josh’s post and Josh’s manager just commented on Sabrina most recent post. Plus Josh’s close friend Ciara just worked on a project with Corey and Elle mills and josh was just working with Elle for his MV. Plus josh follows Sabrina and 2 of her sisters and Corey and Sabrina still follows him. They definitely did break up tho bc in Josh’s GQ article from last month he said he’s single and not ready for the responsibility that comes with a relationship.

​​​ Hello. Years later. Yes they did break up in 2020. But they reconected in 2021 when he had his septic shock and heartfailure. He kept Heaven Is You on his EP which was written by both of them. Sabrina sings on emails i cant send album that she held his heart while it was failing. The song "Feel Something" is about Sabrina. And later Sabrina released "Skinny Dipping" (which he sings about in Feel Something, doing that not the song of course). Skinny Dipping is a break up song. So they broke up again. And in an interview this year she said she went through a break up 3 years ago and it was devestating to her and how Espresso was a song that really set her free from all of that past. 3 years ago is 2021. Her Sister never worked on a music video for Joshua again after these. They stopped following eachother in 22. She also sings on "Vicious" that "you just run to whoever is winning". So there have been alot of back and forth between them (I am guessing Olivia is included here). Cause a break up is never just a break up. More things can happen. Sabrina was also with him in Salt Lake when he filmed season 2 of HSMTMTS which was FROM january 2021 until april. There are pictures of them together in Salt Lake which 2 fans did together with them. Read the lines, and read between them.

(1)actually its allegedly about him just the song drivers license, cause of the blond girl line, everyone assumed that girl was sabrina cause at the time joshua and sabrina were seen together(2) joshuas song crisis is not a response to any of olivias songs cause theres no response to be make. Its just him telling his side of the story, what hes been through cause all the hate, death threats, the literal cruelest treatment he received for a whole year and all hate based in assumptions and rumors cause olivia rodrigo and joshua bassett were costars and they were best friends too so its easy for everyone to start drama and assumptions there. (3) i think its time for people to stop relating joshua with the whole sour album cause come on its not fair cause joshua and olivia were not even in a relationship i think he confirmed that in two interviews.(4) joshua made an interview with gq where he explaines a little more about crisis/secret/set me free, there also the zach sang interview where joshua opens up about his life and how the past year has been for him

@@KingFamilyReacts hey mm this is actually not correct, drivers license is allegedly about him but nobody can tell cause all was just rumors and assumptions fans made, what his song crisis tells is what hes been through the past year and yes well i guess telling a little bit of his side of the story that nobody cared to hear at the time, he made a really mature decision cause he waited and he was never interested in feed any drama, he actually made an statement before the release of the ep for his fans telling them to treat everyone with love and respect and anyone who sends hate on his behalf is not a fan of him, the song drivers license had a huge drama behind and two people were hurt by the conversations around it, fans of olivia were sending both sabrina and joshua death threats, people were making fun of them, even in SNL they were technically insulted, the way they both were treated was TERRIBLE, they got tons of hate over a whole year. It all went way too far

This drama is so strange to me. From the moment Driver License came out so many people took Olivia's side and that is fine, but many of those people really put Joshua, who at that time wasn't even confirmed to be the boy, under fire and didn't even stop when they knew he was hospitalised. I find that really inhuman. I get liking the drama, this is why I think all the time in the past when people speculated about Taylor Swift song and her boyfriends it was fine and sure some people went all out, but it was never to this extent and those were confirmed relationship she had. Not even talking why as an audience we get so obsessed with female relationship and shape them for talking about it, but don't bat an eye for the other gender, because that is a different piint that Taylor herself made. Back to the crisis. I am not taking sides, however I do think that what Joshua said at the Zach Sang interview is true, meaning that the singer, actor, celebrity has power over what his fandom does, to a certain extent. I see why the marketing and managing team of Olivia didn't want to clarify to optimise the income, that is fair play. However I think that if they really had a relationship and if they did love each other, not even mentioning if she did call things off, it would have been an honest move to even go on a live or on her stories on instagram and say I know you guys like the drama, but don't be mean. Like Selena did when she wrote a song about Justin when she was with Hayley and she went out of her way to say it's a song, it doesn’t involve her so don't be mean, like Joshua did with these three songs. I think that after getting Billboard 1 for two weeks and breaking so many records she could have done that. But then again I understand that she is young and maybe felt like opposing to her team wouldn’t have matter or maybe she even tried and they didn't let her. So until we know the full story I'll stay neutral, because I don't want to bring down neither, because they are great artists

yes if you heard of olivia rodrigo her album sour was a heartbreak album pretty much everyone took her side and bash him gave him death threats etc but it was only her side and he never address but in my opintion there is always a danger in one story because there will always be two sides to everything.
