@@haydenz0 OCG plays Circular in Ryzeal for the handloop version. By running a Mathmech package, you can do the normal Ryzeal endboard, summon Evilswarm Ouroboros twice to loop 2 cards, and then use Superfactorial to loop again with Laplacian + have an omni negate because Diameter was used as material.

I really like these videos they are a great intro to both playing and playing against a deck. Honestly I would like to see them for other current meta decks that you haven't covered. It would be nice to just have these as "format prep guides", it makes it a lot easier to catch up on a format or figure out what a deck is doing before you sit across from it.

not seeing a common addressing this yet, so I want to add to this. 7:53 one key thing about Hearts of Crypter that Josh never said, or took into account in his combos is that if it's link arrows points to any monster whatsoever, it's quick effect non-target banish both on effect and activation cannot be negated. what are the simplest ways to play around Dark ruler no more is to summon that thing with any monster pointing to it. even in the composition shown, there are plenty of opportunities to set this up.

@@tsukamesuccess7332 It's a condition similar to Accesscode that even if negated you still can't respond. Additionally we have Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray vs Skill Drain working fine so it 100% works even if negated (by DRNM or Skill Drain)

I do run allure- but ive also found you just want more targets in the deck for all the tb-11/mtp-0ul7/doormouse effects. You dont want to pull all your white rabbits out on turn 1/2 because then you dont get your white rabbit to pull more maliss traps- which are not just extenders- they are very disruptive during the opponent's turn.

Theres some interesting design here. Dormouse is obviously nuts, but if you summon something with it, you cant banish it to reuse the material or trigger off of Allure or a trap, so you still have to think about which activations you want to conserve for later.

The Maliss traps are kind of interesting because you can bluff by setting an Imperm and now your opponent may not want to use targeted negates on your Maliss monsters for fear of it being useless.

As a huge fan of the live twins, this deck feels like it was made for me. Similar to live twins it's an archetype made up of "waifus with a cyber-twist" and even the gameplay seems like a more flexible and competitive version of the live twins. I only play master duel though (I do own a live twin deck IRL, but I haven't played IRL in years), so no idea when I will get to play with these cards 😅

I don't think Maliss and Ryzeal will take over the metagame as much as people think. We still have Snake-Eye and Fiendpile (its not yubel, stop calling it that) as viable decks and Tenpai is Tenpai (so another fairly viable deck) because they aren't hit nearly as hard on the TCG side compared to the OCG. I think Ryzeal and Maliss will still be good decks, but I don't think they will be nearly as dominant as people are claiming without a banlist to hit the other good decks.

“We need to talk about Maliss” Doesn’t even mention the Alice in Wonderland but hackers theme or how that relates to the gameplay. It’s a shame because aesthetically and gameplay wise it’s one of the coolest decks they’ve ever made. Banishment being an allegory for hacking and Wonderland even trickles down to the gameplay mechanics. Like how they essentially summon from deck but they backdoor their way into it in a way that plays around common counters like Ash. It’s a cool metaphor for going into the computer code itself, or in this case, Wonderland as this surreal territory you normally never go into. I get that people just want you to put the fries in the bag but I just love what they did aesthetically with this deck so much.
