IAP TVM conducted the Journal Club on October 17th Monday at 7: 30 pm in Zoom Platform.The article discussed was " Predictors of Mortality in Neonatal Pneumonia: An INCLEN Childhood Pneumonia Study " Kumar et al: Indian Pediatrics.2021 Nov 15 ; Vol 58: 1040-45.The article was presented by Dr.Haripriya H S ,Post graduate SMCSIMCH Karakonam,and the analysis was done by Dr.Silpa Mariam, Post graduate SMCSIMCH Karakonam.The mentors were Dr.Sundar Singh (Assoc Prof Paediatrics and Neonatologist),SMCSIMCH (Somervel Memorial CSI Medical College) Karakonam and Dr.Gheevarghese Prajit Prasad (Asst Prof, Pediatrics),SMCSIMCH Karakonam.Expert Analysis was done by Dr Ramankutty V ,Emeritus Prof., Achuthamenon Centre, SCTIMST.The session was well attended and the discussion on the statistical and clinical significance was elaborate and brought out the pros and cons of the article exposing the true value .Dr Rugmini K , IAP TVM District president addressed the audience.We are thankful to SMCSIMCH Karakonam, Dr Purushothaman sir, Dr Benoy sir, Dr Baburaj (Karakonam).
