Hello satshya, so i am currently in 3 year of my economics degree and future i wished to opt for pg in media studies. I would love to do podcasts, advertisements, interviews and shooting a documentary or something that is related to visual production . Can you tell me a pg course that aligns with my interest or it is somewhere near to it. Okay so idk if you'll read this but i wanted to say that i am currently giving my boards of class 12th pcb and i am really interested in journalism like as you said you wrote for school magazines. I too did this since high school and i am pretty good at communicating and i am sure now that i want to do journalism. So can I do UG in jamc or just opt for bsc in botany and then do PG in journalism? Please suggest Love Cherry

Hi Satshya Didi, so I'm currently going to grade 9 in March and want to be a journalist, I want to take the TV course and I'm more interested in being a news reader. So I'm an NRI, born in New Jersey and came to India when I was not even 1 yr old. I have heard that when you turn 18 you'll have to choose if you want to become a citizen of India or stay as a citizen of the US, and till now I wanted to go to the US but now I'm contemplating whether to go or not since I'll be away from home and other things, so yeah, idk what I wanna do, I'm really sure that I want to be a journalist and my parents are also ok with it, but I'm afraid if they'll let me go to US or not, pls give me some advice didi🙏🏻

Hi Anusha! I’m not too sure about that as that’s usually a mid-level role. Almost no one joins directly as an anchor 😄 an Analyst is usually someone who’s an expert in their field (like defence etc)

you will get a better salary and have a better chance at a job, if you do a postgrad degree. With regard to internships, you can check with one that suits your hostel timings :)

I am just a graduate in bjmc... And I am doing a job as trainee journalist in one of the prestigious news channel... Whatever you want to be you have to start from a basic desk level... Even my editors of national level says... Skills are the most important part of journalism and not post graduate degree... Start working and pursue masters along with your job after some time...
