@@masmedi3539 First off, Perry didn't INVENT his sound. It's a God given talent. He is, granted, the one true "voice" of Journey but Pineda is nearly as talented. This man spoke extremely broken English when he joined Journey but ripped those songs off like a friggin BEAST on stage! Even Perry himself commends Pineda for his amazing vocals that so closely mirror his own. Pineda isn't "copying" Perry's sound. LOL He's using what God gave him. Period. He's KILLING it. PINEDA is the one who is keeping Journey's legend alive and doing a fabulous job of it. Don't get me wrong. I am a Steve Perry die hard fan. He's amazing and no one will EVER replace him as the voice of Journey but give Pineda his dues. He's pretty damn fabulous too.

If you get the chance watch the rock and roll hall of fame ceremonies. Steve will show you what an extreme class act he is. I was thinking the same thing. So I'm watching this and then towards the end of the clip, Arnel drops his microphone and stops singing. The only problem is the audio is still going. Oct 2019. Arnel is already 53 then. His voice is getting really tired, especially with their grueling tour schedule. He sounded much better when he started with Journey in 2008; he was already 41 then.
