Were they the opening act for Emerson, Lake & Palmer? I was at this show! It was my 20th birthday, and I already owned a couple Journey albums, but I was there mainly to see ELP. This was a fantastic show and brought back a lot of memories! Thanks for this!

Seems kind of odd there are no Next songs on here, since it was already out, but LITF title track is, this is absolute GOLD!

The included notes state, "As was often the case, Mike appears to have arrived late, joining the show in progress in the middle of "Of A Lifetime," and he likely missed one or two songs at the start. Mike and Jim sat on the 5th row and the quality of the recording makes up for the duration as it is another up-close, clear and powerful Millard master."

True, I saw Journey in the Bay Area around this time and they were playing some songs from Next. The song "People" stands out in my memory as it sounded so great live.

@@JRNY_Chris Don't forget Robert Fleischman performed with them a few weeks before this concert at the Diamond Head festival.
