On this song, I can hit about 80% of the vocal high notes but the upper few get me so frustrated that I usually stop trying for a while. Regardless, I would have to be having a 1 out of a 100,000 day to even come close, much less running around the whole stage and still doing it. There is only 1 Steve Perry!!

I was there that night, very close to the stage. The entire evening was magical, but this was THE song that I still remember from that night. It was unbelievable and you felt it to your soul. The Voice....Mr. Perfect Pitch. Met him on a couple of occasions while working security...fantastic human being with uncanny sense of humor. He knew he was good, but never flaunted it. Stevie and Ian Gillan were the greatest I've ever heard. Gillan a bit more rangey, but Stevie's clarity and pitch are second to none, including Mercury.

I was in the 3rd row , my best friend and I. I had literally no voice for a week afterwards, from screaming so much! Journey was one of the bands that was responsible for creating big shows of this nature. I saw Journey live 3X, and it was amazing. I remember everyone knew and sang every song right with them.
