I read Jonathan Cain's book a couple weeks ago and he had nothing but wonderful things to say about Steve Perry he was in awe of Steve and loved him very much I know everything progresses and everything changes still, stories like that and how it ended break my heart

Jon was so excited. Steve made sure to give him all the credit. They work so well together no telling what else they could have created if they had stuck it out

Only 160 views after a week (including 5 or 10 by me, I must admit... 😅)? This whole channel is underrated in my eyes. But where are the other Journey fans?

Haha, yes apparently you were the only one interested in this requested vid. Doesn’t mean I won’t do more from your list though.

@@johnnymohawk1015 Even Loneman didn't comment, that's saying something... 😅 Thank you very much anyway for taking inspiration from these suggestions. By the way, I've just added an obvious link to my list under the other video (in bold in the recently edited comment): _Where Were You_ from the live in Houston (their famous 1981 concert filmed by MTV). Brief backstory: a year or two ago, switching the videos of this show with their remastered version, VEVO accidentally replaced _Where Were You_ and Smith's drum solo that follows with _Mother, Father_ and Cain's piano solo. No one at Journey noticed that _Mother, Father_ now appears twice on their channel, but in the meantime this recording of _Where Were You_ has disappeared from KZbin, apart from the full concert version I've linked to you. If you feel like righting this wrong... 😉

My bad. I watch, but rarely comment unless I have something to say.

No need to apologize, @@nancywyatt821! By the way, had you seen my last reply to our thread about Steve's early days with Journey, under the video "Steve Perry performing before joining Journey": in it, I compared Steve's and Jay's narratives of success in the music world?

@@CyregO I saw nothing new on that thread after my reply to you 11 days ago.

Wow, you were quick to do it, J M! I don't need to tell you how much I appreciate you posting this particular version of the song, but doing it anyway for KZbin's SEO of the video. 😉

It's just "Turn Around Tokyo" - there is no 'in'

Not true. Check out the track listing on The Babys “Union Jacks” album (where this song originally appeared).

Nope. "Turn Around in Tokyo" you know unless Jonathan Cain got it wrong a couple of times in his book but I doubt it
