Hammocks Beach State Park has a mainland portion and a few islands. This video is a short guide to Hammocks Beach State Park. Hammocks Beach has a ferry (when in season) to take visitors from the mainland to Bear Island, a secluded island with primitives camping, and trail along the beach. You can also canoe or kayak to the islands and around the shores using kayak trails. There are several hiking trails, all flat and short, on the mainland.
