Lyrics: Just a small town girl, livin' in a lonely world She took the midnight train goin' anywhere Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit He took the midnight train goin' anywhere A singer in a smokey room A smell of wine and cheap perfume For a smile they can share the night It goes on and on and on and on (Chorus) Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the night Streetlights people, living just to find emotion Hiding, somewhere in the night. Working hard to get my fill, Everybody wants a thrill Payin' anything to roll the dice, Just one more time Some will win, some will lose Some were born to sing the blues Oh, the movie never ends It goes on and on and on and on (Chorus) Don't stop believin' Hold on to the feelin' Streetlights people Don't stop believin' Hold on Streetlight people Don't stop believin' Hold on to the feelin' Streetlights people

So it's been a long haul for him. I'm bed ridden 95% of the time and just wanted you to know how much your songs, your videos and your voice have meant to world to me, they keep me entertained and so positive. Wish you were still touring with the band, it's just not the same without you, but I understand we have to chose the path that makes us happiest. Thank you for sharing your talent, gift, courage and personality with all of us. I live in Canada, keep checking to see if you will ever tour again, solo or with the band. For now, I really enjoy your youtube posts too! Always remember you are so loved from your fans and I wish you the very best life has to offer. You are a very special man, always good looking too! lol
@nicolefournel-hartery81878 ай бұрын
@Steve22Perry absolutely, you made my day. As mentioned before, I've been mostly bedridden for 19 yrs due to medical malpractice. A doctor wrote the CT report for the wrong patient. Basically he took my results and gave them to another person and I got theirs. Based on this information, a last resort was to try traction for my lower back injury. This caused my discs to shatter. I was only 36 when this happen so they tried a new technique instead of fusing my spine. Unfortunately, I got the worse kind of infection on that first surgery and it took 3 more to save my life. So every time I move it's vertebras hitting vertebras but when they shift and lock in an unnatural position I become bedridden. As if that wasn't enough I got breast cancer 5 years later. I had been given 9-12 months to live but thankfully this was over 13 yrs ago. I've had to raise my kids thru this, often from my bed, and had to fight for my husband's rights after an at work accident that occurred just 3 months after my back went. Everyone faces life struggles, some more than most but you have to find a way to keep getting up and say "today is gonna be a great day", whether it lasts for 5 minutes or the whole day. Your attitude throughout the struggles you go thru, has a huge impact on your quality of life. You have been such an inspiration, to me and countless people around the world. Never forget that you deserve all the love and happiness this world has to offer. I always tell people to enjoy their health, do what you can today don't wait, do the things you love now. I hope you take time to enjoy life and do the things you want to do now, don't wait. I wish I could have seen you in concert in person. Your voice, the songs you write and sing are timeless. So much talent and the fact that you choose to take the time to share them with people, makes you very special. I hope you have a great week! Thank you so much for reaching out, it meant the world to me.
