Thank you very much for posting this on my birthday date 😂 Bcs am still in the village so today I said I will cook this jellof rice, I went to the market and was able to grab few items available bcs there's no bay leaf, no white pepper, no bell peppers and no paprika powder. I used firewood #localfire method to roast my own tomatoes, onion, garlic, fresh paprika, fresh peppers and believe you me it came out perfect like oven roast. I pound it in motta smooth and cooked my jellof rice and it's super delicious I used carrots and cabbage and onion on my own. The rice was devoured by brother in-law, mother in-law and neighbors and we all enjoyed it My happiness is that I achieved the roasting part with firewood and it came out so well with good aroma
