Joy . . . Forgive me if I’ve said this all before, but… you are simply the most engaging, clear & concise and informative violin tutor on KZbin. How can we not improve our playing after experiencing your enthusiasm, vitality and sheer genius at explaining very complex and rather difficult concepts and movements so clearly? Your name rather gives it all away . . . You are PURE JOY to observe, listen to and learn. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and the highest note on my violin, whatever that might be. I’ve never tried to get it, actually🤔🙃😜🙏 I appreciate and value all that you give us here, freely. Thanks a million🙏

Is not applying the pressure before the stroke really a general rule? Wouldn't you want to have the initial pressure and then release it when the bow starts moving? Maybe I misunderstood
@JoyLeeViolin
@JoyLeeViolin 5 жыл бұрын
It's harder to make it sound nice when the weight / pressure is applied beforehand.
