excellent video. You're a natural teacher, always striking a good balance between getting the right information across and not being over zealous or condescending. Great experience for Thomas, Never mind giving it the beans you were cooking 'em on gas too!

I am so excited and happy. At the weekend I let my Hobie 15 fly for the first time. Now I'm looking forward to even more videos from the wildwind hobie 15 team. Greetings from Germany and have fun.

Great video Joe. I like how you tell the viewers your speed and how hard the wind is blowing that day. I had a chance to sail a brand new h15 (made in France) in my Cuba trip and its amazing how people it can hold with the high buoyancy hulls. I sail prindle 15 and love this boat .. Stable and fast too. 👍

Great video, I have had my hobie for almost to months did not think my lake was going to give me enough wind to need a trapeze, but today I lifted the haul for a bit and the wind was not even that strong. Can trapeze lines be added to 1979 16ft hobie. IT WAS AWESOME
@JoyriderTV4 жыл бұрын
Nice! Always good to get the hull in the air! Yes, a 1979 deserves trapeze wires!

Where was this video taken? Can I rent a Hobie 15 here? I owned a 16 for many years back in my 20's - can't want to get back into on my vacations.
@JoyriderTV3 жыл бұрын
This as at wildwind.co.uk on the Greek Island of Lefkas. Yes we have 15s 16s Pacifics and Tigers for rental, we also offer instruction and courses.

Jo, have you ever sailed the Topcat F2? Imho the Hobie 16 is more fun, compared with Hobie 15. The 15 is a toy, the 16 is fun :-) If you compare with Hobie 15 and 16 ... how is the Topcat F2?
@JoyriderTV3 жыл бұрын
No, I never sailed a Topcat. They look good though, but again nothing compared to the Hobie 16 The Hobie 15 is a teaching/family boat - very stable and easy but with fibreglass hulls that are stiffer and lighter than most of the plastic.

Honestly I don’t really like the 15 I’d do the 16 or a tornado those are better than the 15.
@JoyriderTV4 жыл бұрын
The 15 is more of a training or family boat whereas the 16 and Tornado are delivering high performance.
