Wow! Such a joy watching you. I felt the stretch in my body. I have a question, can I hang it on a pull-up bar ?
@joyscola3 жыл бұрын
Awe, thanks for saying that! I'm so grateful. I do but please no wild movements like swinging on it. 🤗

I have mine on a pull up bar. I'm totally loving it ♥

Clinical studies show that when inverted the separation between the vertebrae increases, this allows for absorption of moisture into the soft tissue of the discs, increasing the nutrient content as well as plumping the discs for better shock absorption and flexibility.

Thank you for your videos of trapeze workout. I just got mine (rigged like your pull-up bar setting) and am learning from you. Thank you!

Awe, I’m so happy to hear that! It’s seriously one of my favorite ways to practice! Feel free to reach out with any questions or other comments. Thanks for watching!

I am going to rig it under a high bar in the kids playground to make it higher. The challenge is to see if I could hoist my body up like the way you did. If I could do it sometime in the future, it means I finally have some measure of upper body strength LOL.
@joyscola6 жыл бұрын
Woohoo! Let me know how it goes! Just make sure to keep your shoulders down your back (neck long like a ballerina) when you go to lift. I got my upper body strength from having to lift myself up. Best of luck!

Loved the video! Got my trapeze a couple days ago and I think I'll revert back to this often for my morning routine 🥰 side note. I have rheumatoid arthritis and the bit of yoga I started months ago plus my trapeze is soooo beneficial

Are you using the parachute hammock that comes with the purchase, or did you replace it with a silk hammock? Does yoga trapeze sell a separate silk hammock?
@joyscola2 жыл бұрын
I'm using the parachute material. I have a silk hammock as well but haven't tried to combine the two. Yoga body doesn't sell a silk one. You'd have to get it from a different company

Hello, I don't know if you're still taking questions, but I would really like to know how to hang your Yoga Trapeze on a tree? Does the branch have to be level horizontally or can the trapeze be adjusted to make it level? I am at home with my kids due to COVID as most of us are, and the kids are begging me to hang it up in our yard...any tips? Thank you!

I'm in the same boat, mama. And would love to see an explanation of how to hang our trapeze in a tree, too. Please and thanks.

Vanakkam! Thank you for teaching me that word! Thanks, we want to use it for more of the videos. The only thing is, since it's so loud, I have to do a voice-over later instead of talking to the camera. It really is SUPER comfy and RELAAAAXXXING!
@jthompson120db6 жыл бұрын
just returning the favor so thanks (which is always nice to do), you've been teaching me yoga with your videos for years. And an fyi its alright if you place your hands at heart level when speaking to me directly, just have them at head level for others because at heart level its for a diety ;) . But honestly anyone doesnt look that far into it unless you're Tamil, namaste is in actuality just how you pronounce it and just became Word plus it actually symbolic for submission

Ahh, gotcha. Thank you, again!

Do you eventually adjust to being upside down? I just started trying to invert and the head rush is insane. I can only last about 5 or 10 seconds before I have to come back up and I really want to reap the benefits of inversion!
@joyscola6 жыл бұрын
Yeah, just like anything it takes some getting used to and tolerance building. I recommend sticking to that length of time for about a week to two weeks then start adding 5-10 seconds and holding for a week to two weeks and continue on as you're comfortable. Best wishes and let me know if I can help in any way.

it is more like medium level, as a beginner i found it difficult to follow, is very quick

Oh, thank you for the feedback. I'll update the video to reflect that.

This feels sooooo painful during the forward stretches. The fabric digs into my flesh, and I have on tights. Yikes!
@joyscola6 жыл бұрын
Oh dang! I'm sorry to hear that... I know it took my hips some time to adjust but eventually it got to the point where I don't even notice it/it doesn't affect me anymore. May just need to keep trying a little bit every day and if it doesn't get better then no need to practice that pose. Also, the parachute material is NOT stretchy at all where if you were to get a silk hammock it would stretch and therefore be less painfu.
@meaganfischer40114 жыл бұрын
This is way too fast! I don't even have time to comprehend the instructions, let alone do them, before you move on to the next thing. I'm trying to relax here, not stress out because I can't keep up. Also it's pretty hard to pause the video to catch up while in the swing. I hope you consider thing when making your next video.
@joyscola4 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry. This is more to watch then go practice later. I have more guided videos that are slow enough to follow. 🤗

Same here. She’s flipping around all over the place and I’m still getting into the trapeze. I ended up writing a short description of the poses along with the time stamps. I’m working on memorizing the routine.
