I love Joytoy! They've improved leaps and bounds incrementally over just a few years. My initial disappointment was really with my expectations for these figures. Great review. Love the figures. They are definitely nods to Star Wars Boba Fett bounty hunter, and Mando as Enforcer. It's a great take on those two iconic characters.

Even with the complaints, the increased quality from the older figures, like the Russian federation guys who would sometimes disintegrate immediately, gives me hope. I'm not eager to go back to the days when you had, by design, to glue all the gear onto the belts, but since I'm already used to stuff like that I don't feel deterred by the idea of gluing that kneepad back on. Cheers mate! Yeah agreed. I had to remove myself from my initial expectations to see just how good these figures are, and how good we have it. Joytoy are known for their incremental changes, so a release like this shouldn't be a surprise to me really. I got a set of those green Russian figures and they were an absolute nightmare. Made for great content on the channel though lol.

Honestly I love this brand. I'm gonna sale my Acid Rain figures I never touch'em so I prefer to keep customizing JOYTOYS. This brand keeps me on the way of collecting figures. Hunter will be my new guy and I'm gonna look for a good head sculpt. Be safe my friend

Cheers mate! Love Joytoy for their customising potential. I think pricepoint helps as well, they're not as pricey as Acid Rain. I think these two figures are great custom fodder!

Ushhhh I really missed out. Though Hunter has its Flaws, I really dig the design. His Armor reminds me of the Bounty hunter figure JoyToy released many moons ago. Great Review, Informative.

When I removed the hands I did have some paint rub of my hands. But overall they really perfected the 1:18 scale figure. Wish gi joe hired these guys.

Oh definitely, my gripes are with my own self inflicted expectations. We're in a golden age of 1/18 goodness and that's in large part due to Joytoy!

Despite the reuse I like these figures, still wish they would have went with the orange paint for the hunter as seen with the prototype. I agree other than the paint there is nothing premium about them. Good lob on the review.

Though I like the olive drab, I wish that they had kept the orange. At the very least, keep the full orange skull! I want to commend you for this review, Skelly. The figures look great and I like that you addressed that perhaps your expectations of it being premium were preventing you from fully enjoying the figures as they are. This is why I trust your reviews and love this channel.

I know a few people expressed their concerns about the orange colour in some of the comments from previous videos, perhaps Joytoy saw this and had cold feet! lol Cheers mate, really appreciate that. I know some reviewers would either not address some issues or just not review something if they feel a certain way. Our tastes are fluid and change for whatever reasons. I wasn't able to fully enjoy the recent Dune film in Cinemas because I had the expectation of the book in my head the whole time. After a few days I really had the urge to watch it again and my view of it changed when I was able to free myself from the shackles of the book. Same thing here, I'm glad I held off from completing the review as I knew my initial thoughts were clouded by my expectations.

I hate to say it or offend people but I got my enforcer in hand ..and this is supposed to be PREMIUM joy toy ..but they still don’t come close to Acid rain. I know acid rain is more expensive but comparing the details and paint /joints of acid rain to joy toy acid rain looks and feels so much better .

Overall I like them, but they're nothing like I was lead to believe. These "improvements" should just be standard for upcoming releases and not made out like it's some special thing

They need to really think about how they can figure these though because as you had discovered a lot of the armor pieces fit in a weird way.

I normally take my figures apart anyway, but it's still annoying that I had to fix things up on both figures. Having said that, they are great figures when all is said and done. Look great, and great articulation!

Finally joy toys does something close to the scale I collect and enjoy most. I like the 1/18 better than 1/6 but not as much as 1/12. Don't collect the vehicles that's why. No room 😝👍

I still haven't felt compelled to buy a JoyToy figure yet. Their aesthetic doesn't do it for me by-and-large, and the odd bits popping off, etc. that I don't have with Acid Rain.

Sir Leon! Yeah, that's understandable. I feel the same for the most part. These two are actually good figures that are fun to play about with despite my initial thoughts. For me, ARW has more of a premium feel with each figure and how it's packaged. ARW designs are more thought out I feel.

Thanks Gunnar. Yeah, that was a bit of surprise. I'm assuming it was to accommodate the older chest armour (?). they did so well with Steiner, Boyang Feng and Gregson, these two definitely take a step back. I still like 'em, but certainly not the premium figures I thought they'd be. Lol yup every little helps! Long four day weekend coming up for us this Easter holiday, wahoo! Enjoy mate
