I used to tell my wife the same thing. I support you in your stated effort to be content with what you have...but won't hold it against you when you realize, all the rc companies in the world are hard at work designing ways to part you from your money and leave you with a smile on your face.

It’s relatable to buy too many cars/trucks . One of the biggest reasons is you can buy several upgrades for broken rc , or for the same money, buy a new rc . It’s tough to have the self discipline to fix what we have when they release new stuff constantly .

I own 7 Arrmas. One being the new K6. And I can tell you it is a beast! I've built 6S rigs chassis up. And typically that's how I do it. Because I've learned over time that if you want to do serious bashing you need a purpose built rc. That involves aluminum bulkheads. Titanium axles and driveshafts. Tuning your doffs. A bunch of M2C parts. A Hobbywing esc and motor. Etc. But then came this new K6. And the only thing I've done is tune the diffs, replace the shock cap bushings with m2c bushings and replaced the hubs with Hot Racing hubs. And I do 100 foot plus sends off of a Freshpark ramp. And nothing. I mean absolutely nothing has broken. And I've had a few bad landings. The chassis is still straight. And the shocks are so good!. I've ordered 2 more sets of shocks. To put on on my K6 V5 and my Fireteam. I'm really hoping that they bring the Outcast in this trim next.

@@baaa4698 I run lsd diffs front to back from RCAWD. I use 500k fluid in the center. 60k fluid in the front. And 30k fluid I the rear.

@baaa4698 Shock oil I run 100 wt. But keep in mind I have a fully built rig. A lot of aluminum that has added weight. On a stick Kraton 6S I'd recommend 70 to 90 wt shock oil.

Yeah man . I m new and got lucky with a deal .coming from a 1/16 size ripper this thing is huge 😂. Waiting on some batteries but she moved around ok on 3s . So much bigger and noisier than what I’ve been used to . This might piss of some neighbors but I have spots .

Yeah the k6s is a must have. I just said to myself I’m gonna fully upgrade my first Rc then move up the list adding and tuning each this year. 👍🏿 Leggo

yeah, the last thing this car needed was more parts to break. Guess Arrma make a lot of money on spares 😂 Would never buy an arrma again, they look nice but are for beginners that didn’t know better.

I feel ya on having to many trucks. I wanted this new exb, but have the roller with tons of good mods. Figure I add the new stuff to it for an update but also use m2c were I want and have it be better, plus have a hobbywing g2 in it. I will wait for the Outcast version because I do not have a 6s outcast. Happy bashing.

The way u talk about the K6 EXB is like me I just love the truck,I have 2 K6 XL ,1 regular beef up and now this one, just like the look and how the platform perfom,Blessings 6 to 12 inches of snow here on Massachusetts 😢

I can’t believe I have something like this today and drove it for like 5 minutes only . Mesh is good , no clicking but she’s loud and she’s big . Not this version but a red Kraton 6s BlX v5 bnib for like $100 off. I imagine they ll be that price for Father’s Day maybe . I haven’t tried anymore than 3s yet . 😮 but it was still moving ok .

Yea Jason i just bought the notorious 6s a month ago did a full m2c every single part available from them upgrade amd the new hobbywing max 8 g2 motor esc woth gens ace basher series 8000mah 3s 100c packs proline badlands with proline aluminum hubs darkside studios chassis protector qs8 connectors, typhon wing exg front bumper stainless steel screw kit, 130.00 power hobby 729mbl servo hot racing motor fan, helicalncut front and rear ring and pinion, scorched rc front amd rear hubs,pps motor nount center diff carrier, im sure im missing something lol. Point is i wish inwould have waited for this to that new kraton.... but i have a 1/5 kraton 8s exb that probably has 4500.00 into it so i ahve that kraton itch pretry much scratched lol. I probably spent a good 2000.00 on that notorious so wife said no to this nee kraton!! Im a big fan btw!! Looks killer!! Cheers from hooper utah!!

I’m still rocking my stock outta the box Notorious. I broke a suspension arm and added a fan. Have driven it pretty hard and it is standing pretty good. I’m hoping to get a Kraton this year, let’s hope so….

I thought the range was pretty good in a large parking lot . I only need a 100 or so but the range was great on my example with no cut off . Needs headlights and what is the extra plug in hanging off the RC ?

HI first of all great video. If I buy one do u suggest I open all the diffs and check the fluid levels or just run it out the box.

It's always a good thing. But I usually go out for a few runs first and see how the truck is set up. And then crack the diffs and tune it later.

I feel your pain. How has it worked out. I said the same thing. So far I've gained a V 2.5 4s Kraton, Omni Terminator, Redcat Ascent Fusion, Redcat Vigilante. I swear I did really good the first couple months of the year. Dam Redcat...

Im barely starting to buy these rc's lol and it's definitely hard to not buy more rc cars or parts for them, So I definitely get what your saying about not buying anymore rc's this year. My recent purchase was an Arrma Vorteks Boost model tho, So I could say to myself, I didn't spend too much but then right after placed and order on a spektrum 120A with a 2400kv motor from a new Kraton and a few aluminum parts but have more parts on my cart ready to purchase lol Thinking about getting the kraton 6s now too lol So hopefully I can get some help before it's too late 😢 😂😂

I have a kraton exb roller and I have a Max8 esc and the 2000kv motor out of my Nero big rock It is very fast on 4s

Anyone know which wing mount flexes the best before breaking . Aluminum will just move the damage to the next plastic piece

So the Gens Ace 6s lipo appears to hang off the chassis on the Kraton 6s. Isn’t this a problem? You did it before on your older Kraton 6s. How’d that do?

I'm holding out for the ultimate just because I'm a noob who has been sticking with traxxas already have the xrt ult and rustler ult so I figured I'd just keep things easy. You just know they're going to drop an ultimate sledge to combat this car. But if it doesn't truly have all the parts their offer for upgrades then I don't see it keeping up with the kraton when you can get this much value for the price. Even tho lately discovering more dislikes about Traxxas as a company and their shadiness as I'm a late comer to the game.

Help me here guys, 6S looks more solid (to me) than the 8S, 6S is cheaper but considerably smaller than the 8S, issue here...i can basically only order from Amazon (im in Mexico), i can get the 8S for 1290USD, Big Rock 6S for 880USD, i can split it into monthly payments if i buy there, Kraton 6S EXB i would have to buy from who knows where that actually ships to Mexico, with customs charges on my end...so eff it and just go straight for the big boy 8S EXB?? i can actually get the 6S BLX Kraton for 700USD, which one would you get?? I dont plan on crazy 30ft high jumps with either of them, too expensive and slow to get parts to do that, lol, but accidents happen.

my fan was unplugged but MY esc was NOT updated. I got a 20% off coupon from horizon but I cannot figure out how to update because I can't use a computer and horizon hasn't replied in days so.
