Thanks so much for uploading this series, I can remember watching it in the early eighties and have tried to get it on dvd and searched the internet for it but to no avail. He was truly inspirational with his enthusiasm and passion for gardening.

Thanks. It has been quite a task as the internet is so slow here in Fuerteventura that I can only overload overnight and it took 6 hours per episode so only one per night.

I loved this series when I were a lad. Mesmerised me at the time. Started a gardening club at school soon after. Unfortunately my grumpiness about general UK climate and intense dislike of the resulting mud has meant our small gardens are gravelled, but I did dig a pond which gets various water loving visitors. I'd love to know what sort of wildlife would turn up to a Fuerteventura pond although fear that mosquitos would be a problem.

I enjoyed gardening in the UK but the weather was so frustrating. With whole months when it didn't stop raining, and me being a fair weather gardener (and everything else), it took the fun out of it. Sue keeps banging on about wanting a pond but I would be the one who would have to dig the hole and do all the hard work. That isn't happening with the ground as it is here when it takes 5 minutes with a pick and shovel to dig a hole big enough for a small plant. Thanks for watching Marc.

I recommend you to delete the videos. Unfortunately KZbin have an algorithm to flag videos that could have copyright, and your channel could be blocked if you receive three strikes (one per video)

I am not monetising them. There are other channels with some of Geoffrey Smith's other series which seem to be have been there for many years without a problem. It seems that this series no longer exists anywhere, and cannot be bought from the BBC, nor was it ever released on video or dvd. My 36-year-old recording might be the only one in existence anywhere. We will see. Thanks for your concerns Armando.
