We love it too, Philippe. We’ve just done the same journey again in reverse: Guernsey - Kerneval. And the French coastline never ceases to amaze. And the short choppy French seas never cease to annoy!! 😅

Awesome sailboat! Won't it be an idea to use loctite to better secure your tiller extensions? Btw, do you have a lifting or fixed keel?

😁thank you Alberto. And great idea: we’ll try loctite and see if that works. We have a fixed keel. Have a look at episode #2 showing how it was set. Impressive process.

Love to know what sail cloth was used in those tri- radial sails

It’s described as ‘Upwind Contender Pro-Hybrid’ from Technique Voile. We think the cloth is woven polyester and dyneema, but maybe have a look at the Contender website.

@@PhiSailing - thankyou - the European manufacturers ( and now North American ) are starting to make some really half decent "white cloth" - thankfully - the latest carbon (black sails) just doesn't do it for me. the suite of sails you have had made seem to scrub up pretty well

Bonsoir Non pas de bateau en commande, trop de délai chez JPK pour un 39 alors on cherche un 38 .... bonne navigation .... nous nous sommes sur la méditerranée Perpignan...

dont want to break your hats on your head gear - but very hard to go past the traditional English souwester. best thing since sliced bread - the only other solution - is take the yacht to the Antipodes in Australia - not so miserable here
