I have been really interested in the Andor expansions since Kosmos announced that they would be distributing them in English themselves and that we would be getting the expansions state-side. Found your video and I have to say that not only was it fun and super interesting, your English is AMAZING. Great job man--I will definitely be watching more of your content! :)

Umm, I don't think it was mentioned one way or the other at GenCon. They specifically name-dropped The New Heroes, Star Shield and Journey to the North. Other stuff will probably depend on how well those sell...

+Jonathan Grant I see but Chada & Thorn just came out in Germany, so it might be a while anyway! I am considering doing a walkthrough for this as well. Originally I only wanted to do this for my German channel but if you're interested and fine with the German components I might reconsider ;-)

I've been waiting to purchase Andor here in the States, waiting to see if Fantasy Flight is going to translate the expansions or maybe even pass the license to someone else. It is very frustrating because I want to play the game and have access to the expansions when I am done with the base set. This expansion looks pretty cool as well...perhaps it is time to learn to read German.

The small expansions to date were ok but this one is really worth getting it as it offers some cool new elements. It's absolute fun to upgrade the Aldebaran and sail through Hadria. Maybe they find a solution together with Asmodee ;-)

+Clinton Coddington (PurityThruFire) Just a heads up in case you haven't heard, but Kosmos has begun distributing Andor in-house state-side. Base game and first two small-box expansions should be available through them any day now with Journey to the North available next year. :)

I don't understand... if all the heroes are on the same boat, wouldn't the first move of the boat imply that the hour is used up by all on the boat, and not just Chada? Similarly, when the second hero moves the boat, shouldn't it affect the time available for the other heroes on the boat?

Yeah - this is a thematic "flaw" but makes sense rule-wise. In fact the rules recommend that heroes on board the ship take turns when it comes to spending hours for sailing but again that's not always the right thing to do.

The original game is the best coop of all time calling for genuine strategy. It's also one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. A true labour of love. I can not understand why it hasn't taken off in the English speaking world...if it had I'm guessing, FFG would have picked it up.

I mentioned this before somewhere on BGG or so but I guess FFG is used to different figures when it comes to selling actual units. But again this is only a guess from my side.

The mermaid dust... does it give you strength or willpower? My version says willpower and yours states that it is strength. For a per legend item, willpower seems weak. I’ve been playing it as strength because it seems like a better that way. Clarification anyone?
