JPMorgan Chase Changes Policy that Presented Risks for Viewpoint Diversity

JPMorgan Chase changed a policy that posed a serious risk of viewpoint-based de-banking decisions.
ADF Senior Counsel and Senior Vice President of Corporate Engagement Jeremy Tedesco said that while the bank still has a long way to go in respecting viewpoint diversity, dropping this dangerous policy was a step in the right direction.
Each year, the Viewpoint Diversity Score releases a Business Index scoring major companies on their respect for free speech and religious freedom. Some companies have already changed their practices to promote more viewpoint diversity, and Jeremy said he hopes more companies will follow suit.
