To be a great passer you gotta be good at driving into the lane and forcing a double cause your so close. We saw what happened to Lonzo. He’s an elite passer but he has to get into the lane to be able to dish it. That’s why Magic and LeBron are good passers because they force doubles when they get into the lane and almost always make the right pass out of it

MXP yup you’re not wrong, that’s another part of being a great passer :)

Lebron James #10 All-time NBA history for assists.........at any position. 😀😀😀 New Orleans Pelicans trade was perfect for Lonzo Ball's Growth & Development = his own team as the #1 Floor General. Lonzo is not interested in scoring (the defense knows this too) so Lonzo needs the ball in-hand to be most effective. Can't make these passes if Lebron James always has the ball.

I agree with the heads up stuff, BUT there's another thing to this Senses.. not everyone has that passing sense and ability.. its truly a gift to have..

Do u have any tips on how to throw harder and faster passes, like how to hold and throw the ball bc my passes are weak and I wanna fix that. Thanks! Btw keep up the great work g
@JezPhipps6 жыл бұрын
Preciate the love fam🔥🐐 and yeah there is. It’s really quite simple if you want to throw it faster you just have to throw it like any other object at a fast speed. When it comes to holding the ball that can vary because we have chest passes one hand passes and etc. the best thing is to just work on throwing hard passes and work on your forearm and arms. Because when doing a combo or whatever your forearm might be tired from any dribbling you’ve done so thats one reason on how your passes can be weak. Try to improve your forearm strength along with your arms and you should be good. I’m not a specialist or whenever when it comes to body performance and etc but this part I know for sure from experience 🤞🏽

It happens to me always. I do some flashy pass and yet they end up getting hit in the face or unable to catch the ball.

@@pangoytalala4886 fr especially just playing around in gym at school or something and your teammate isnt paying attention or just isn't ready for those passes
@JezPhipps5 жыл бұрын
Originality it’s good to know your teammates likes and dislikes but it’s not always about “practicing the pass with your teammate” there will be times where you’ll have to throw a unorthodox pass to your guy when he probably isn’t even ready. Which is why you have the ball or not, you must always be on alert and have your head up and hands ready for any quick or flashy pass to be thrown!

@@JezPhipps I always love lonzo. When he got traded to the pelicans I was so sad. The only reason why I said he is one of the most underrated passers in the NBA is because not many people appreciated he's passing ability.
@JezPhipps5 жыл бұрын
It’s cause he’s been on bad teams. Has a decent one last year but when you don’t have other great players to receive, there’s only so much that you can do. Also depends on their teams play styles
