@@christopherharris8312 I've had opiate addiction for over 30 years, so I do know what I'm talking about actually, and concerning the Kratom you still need to withdraw off of that too, so no you're not clean. My friend tried kratom a few days ago and had the worse allergic reaction, she had a fever and was very ill. All I'm saying is you now have a Kratom addiction. The same with methadone you're at less of a risk from overdose, infection from injection sites e.t.c. ; but you're still addicted to an opioid and have a hell of a time coming off cold turkey. There's just no easy way to come off of opiates, you're going to go thru some discomfort regardless of what you take. The best way to do it is reduce as low as possible and then get something for about a week to get over the worst part. It IS their/our "issue" for being addicted. Who else's?

I've used kratom for the past 15 years or so to manage my nerve and arthritis pain. In that time, I stopped consuming alcohol, street drugs, I've kept the same desk job for 10 years, been happily married for 12, own a house and paid off the car. There seems to be a real disconnect between what people think a kratom user is and what we actually can be. This is largely due to the ongoing opioid crisis hysteria. There isn't a viable option for pain management available for a lot of people in the USA anymore. Pain patients are often treated like criminals and junkies and either turned away or monitored to the point of weekly piss tests and strict medication use guidelines. Prescriptions for opioid pain medication has dropped yet deaths from overdoses continue to skyrocket despite restrictions. Why? Fentanyl has filled that demand for relief. What exactly is the point of these restrictions when street fentanyl is cheap and plentiful? Anyway, I'm glad I got out of that racket. I feel like a beat the system and I'm lucky to be alive.

Famous Forever I take 3 milligrams per dosage as many as 4 a day and having Kratom is the only reason I could get off bupenorphine (Suboxone) which I had been on for 5 years after i decided to kick heroin and other opiates. I have been clean for a whole year in August and I thank God everyday.

Idk man, i tried kratom to kick opiates. And it didnt do anything lol and i took ALOT of kratom lols just felt like strong coffee. After about 30 min, affects were gone, and i was hella craving opiates again. Glad it works for some people. Only thing that worked for me was cold turkey, and Jesus Christ 🙏🏻. Thank God, ive been 100% sober from heroin, fentanyl, alcohol, and coke for 3 years now and going strong! My prayers go out to all the addicts out there.

My friend's mom crushed her spine in a car accident and lives in constant pain. They had her on opioids for years so she could function like a normal person. Because of the "opioid epidemic" outcry they passed laws which cut her pain medication. She has been taking kratom to help with the pain and addiction. Now they even want to take that away. 500,000ish people die every year from cigarettes? If their reason for banning it is the death count, then they are either wildly hypocritical or have an alternative reason. Knowing big pharma, this is happening because they don't want to you to be able to treat yourself. I think we should have the freedom to ingest what we want. Do we not own our bodies?

It's legal where i am now and smoke going up for mom. I use Kraytom powder and it's a much healthier alternative than opioid pills. I agree with what you said and cigarettes and in my opinion alcohol should be more regulated than anything. How many people die from drunk driver's and liver disease? We cannot take a life changing healing botanical away from the 1000s that have broken the chains of hard drug addiction because a few unfortunates had a reaction usually with other substances. I need to find out where and what to by to stop the 7 years of Subutex. I've told the doc long time I want off. He just says when myself. I cannot. I'm at 6 mg a day. I was on pain meds for 4.5 years because of spinal injuries. I was taking 200mg of morphine a day. Kratom plus CBD and medical marijuana got me off all of that for the past 2 years. When I was on pain meds it took my pain away but I felt like shit all the time. Especially in the morning when I woke up. With kratom I have been able to work out again consistently I'm stronger than I have ever been in my life at 32 years old. I also don't feel like shit every morning. The withdrawals of kratom is nothing in comparison to pain med withdrawal.

Kratom is literally the only thing (over the counter) that helped my fiancé stop drinking. He had been an alcoholic etc. for 10+ years and he was able to kick the other addictions but not alcohol. I take kratom every single day for my chronic back pain. When I was prescribed opiates I was absolutely miserable and I did everything I could to avoid any addiction and it still got to me. I was so depressed thinking that there was no other option for me and I’d have to take the pills every day or live my life in a very physically limited way. Then I learned about kratom and I was able to stop taking the prescriptions. It does feel similar to a low dose of opiates but I haven’t experienced any of the downsides I was with the prescriptions. It’s been 3 years now and I am happy and healthy and I can’t imagine where I’d be without kratom. I honestly might not be here. It was daunting. Opioids are HIGHLY water soluble, meaning simple water will distibute it evenly - There are four cornerstones to prevent opi OD's: 1) Don't fucking mix or add any other respiratory depressants. 2) Add water to distribute all opioids evenly in whatever you're taking, as there are even pressed pills out there. 3) Measure out one-eighth of said solution as a tester dose via prefered ROA and juxtapose strength through said volumetric dosage. 4) Use the fucking buddy system with naloxone at hand. I've hypothetically been using for over ten years and only OD'd once when I used a completely legal fentalogue RC. Never happened with any morphinan. Not to mention EtOH (Drinking Alcohol) is more lethal than all illegal, recreational drugs combined annually. Opioids don't damage the brain or liver like EtOH does nor does it produce excessive insulin which is also damaging through excessive amounts of carbs like EtOH does. Oh, did I mention how cancerous EtOH is? I'd rather OD and die and be done with it than loose my mind, need a new liver and/or acquire cancer or diabetes. Also, tweaker or tweeker is for stim users. I should be in pain management but no doctor will write pain meds anymore because people abused them. Kratom is a life saver. When you're in constant physical pain to the point of wanting to delete yourself with no cure addiction to a highly less dangerous drug than opioids is worth the trade off. Living in so much pain you're constantly in tears and unable to get out of bed isn't living,it's just waiting to die. And no,I'm not depressed and I certainly don't look forward to death. I here about people taking 10 plus grams at once🤪…. It must be some crapy stuff because you should not need that much. I get mine from a company called Happy Hippo herbals from Idaho. They test for heavy metals, bacteria, mold etc…. Worth the cost! I also mix other things with it and take other supplements. I definitely felt the withdrawals that you're talking about though because I would take one of my days off and fight through it without taking any or very little. When I would resume the normal routine, each dose would be a little smaller. Example: If I was taking 5 capsules every 4 hours, 7 days a week, then after my "purge" day the normal routine would be 4 capsules every 4 hours etc etc.. Little bits of weed helped when I had problems sleeping but if I didn't have access to weed I'd probably just do Tylenol PM or something like that. I also ate a little healthier and started taking complete vitamins and it seems to help quite a bit energy-wise. I know it's annoying af but you'll get it. 💪

A big reason that it's hated on by the FDA is it's effect on the legal opiate (prescription) business. As a recovering heroin addict, who takes 50+ grams a day, with minor side effects compared to heroin, I consider it safe. However, I believe stricter regulations aren't a bad idea. It's in the tea family, no more addictive than coffee or tea. I have never had withdrawal symptoms AT ALL. I don't NEED to have it, but it definitely helps give me extra energy when I need it. It's better than taking a Xanax or an opiate. In fact, I ran out yesterday, and won't be able to afford anymore until the beginning of next month. I'm not even worried. Matt Warner I find it to cheer me up. They say you need to find your dose. I took a couple capsules and it made me a bit tired. Now I take 4 and wait about an hour then take another 2. I find that it makes me happy and not tired. It cuts out my negative thoughts. It’s amazing. I get very stressed when ever I would stop drinking. I had a lot of depressing thoughts and was just miserable. My dad passed recently and alcohol wasn’t making it any better. I’m just more cheerful and focused now. I only take it at night. I've been addict my whole life. I fell into opioids first. Got clean. Weed was my next. Then I fell in love with alcohol. I knew of kratom never tried it not even in opioid withdrawals. Some dude at work offered to make me some. Instantly I knew this was it. This was what I needed to feel well. I take 2g 3 times a day 4-5 hours a part. 1 on the way to work. 1 at lunch and 1 on the way home. I think it's too much still in curious and need to get blood work done but honestly I'm positive it can't be worse than drinking 10 9% beers a night. I've quit drinking for almost a year with 1 month i fell of the wagon. I can't speak to if it's bad or not so I won't recommend it out right but if you have substance abuse problems i encourage you to take a look at kratom and decide yourself

I have been taking Kratom for five years now and I think that it is important to note some thing that your guest said. He said Kratom is an opioid don’t be fooled. And while by technicality it isn’t it’s still triggers opioid receptors in the same way that opioids do and can cause opioid dependency just as morphine can over long-term use and there are long-term health side effects. Some of the strongest being vision issues cardiac rhythm issues and weakness/shakiness I know there’s going to be so many people who jump on top of this and advocate otherwise. Also when you take kratom it raises your blood pressure where you get very warm or hot. Kratom is neither an opiate or opiod. It is simply a plant that is a partial agonist of the opiate receptors. It's really that simple. Opiates are naturally occurring in the opium poppy specifically. Example: Codeine and Morphine. Opiods are semi-synthetic to fully synthetic. Example: Hydrocodone, fentanyl etc. I know 99% of the public is unaware of this basic information but I guess that's okay because I'm here to clear it up. If we were to compare it between either an opiate or opiod, we would never classify it an opiod nor opiate but kratom is naturally occurring, as people commonly take it in a crushed leaf powder form. I personally take it in numerous capsules daily. I find it more effective for pain relief than oxycodone when the kratom dose is high enough. There is a theoretical reason why kratom could be more effective than an opiate or opiod if the kratom dose is high enough but your opiate or opiod tolerance can't be high enough for that to occur. It's not just mitraygine. It's also hydroxmitragyine which is in much smaller quantities as an alkaloid in kratom but hydroxmytraygines analgesic(pain relieving effect) is much more potent than heroins analgesic(pain killing effect). Even in small quantities, that's significant with hydroxmitragyine. I likely mildly spelled mitragyine and hydroxmitragyine wrong. The miracle of kratom is primarily the opiate agonist alkaloid effects of the above mentioned ones however there is also a host of other alkaloids extremely beneficial for pain relief or mental health. It has opiate antagonist alkaloids in it and as well nmda antagonist alkaloids in it, which is responsible for why kratom tolerance is much, much, much slower than conventional opiods or opiates. There is also stimulant alkaloids in kratom, which are excellent for functioning at work, ADHD, ADD etc. I could go on and on. I studied a bit of pharmacology and I know just about everything you could know about kratom. I take kratom daily. Last significant details: You can't overdose and die on kratom like you could with opiods or opiates because kratom doesn't cause respiratory depression, which basically means slowing down breathing. People without opiate or opiod tolerance can have respiratory depression and too much leads to fatal respiratory depression, which means you stop breathing and die. This is reversed by what we call opiod antagonists, like noloxone primarily. The articles of kratom overdoses are genuinely extremely evil because they're blatant lies, to ban kratom. All the kratom so called fatal overdoses involved other much more powerful drugs, like including benzos and fentanyl etc. No one dies from kratom overdoses. Can it happen? It's so extremely unlikely and next to impossible because you would need to consume so much powder and then your body would throw it up. Again, kratom doesn't cause reduced breathing. You can't OD from it. Is it safe? As safe as kratom. My sources? I'm an expert on this and a long time pain patient. I offer free pain relief advice to anyone. I primarily recommend pharmaceutical relief or herbal medicine relief. But what does it matter because this beneficial and objective comment will probably just be censored. That little secondary host of joe rogan said people overdosed with kratom. That was a disgusting and evil lie that the media manufactured. I don't like joe rogan and I only watched 3 minutes in. I was interested with the kratom title but I'll get too bothered by the blatant misinformation in the video, as chronic pain and misinformation on this stuff irritates me.

His step dad puts Kratom (from California Kratom Spot) in smoothie every morning before working out. Zero issues. Coroner said many OD on mixing high doses of Kratom with other drugs and they die. Who knows what crap is mixed in with the stuff at a convenience store or gas station. The quality Kratom costs $300 and you can pick different strains. Son was an organ donor, saved 5 lives and lost his. He used Kratom for months to ween off of opioids. The loss is excruciating and I want answers.

I was prescribed opioid painkillers for a REALLY bad knee injury. I took them for a few weeks but was very agitated/angry while taking them. A friend of mine suggested I take Kratom instead. Once I started taking the Kratom, I put down the opioids. No, Kratom isn't taking away all the pain like opioids did but, it takes away enough of the pain that I can still function without being agitated/angry and I have my sex drive back! Just don’t get hooked on it. It’s really easy to get addicted to kratom and you won’t even notice taking 10-15 grams a day. Also if you take it for a prolonged time the withdrawals are nasty. Cold turkey takes 2 months to finally feel normal. It fucks up your serotonin and dopamine. It also royally fucks up your hormones, especially testosterone so the sex drive just flies out the window after some time. Your hair starts to thin out, you gain weight. Also your motivation will be gone and all you do is take kratom and behave like a robot. So be careful with this shit.

Two doses a day ( I've done 3 doses, 60 GS, but it can have adverse affects. I was an alcoholic for about 7 years and abused the hell out of narcotics. I used to take 17-20 kratum shots a day. OPM’s. I started with 1 to get off of pain meds from an injury. I died and was in ICU for 10 days. Kratum is just as addictive as oxy in my opinion.
