Not when he faced the best guys. Kurt Hennig, the Giant, Scott Hall, Hulk Hogan, Sting, DDP, Kevin Nash, Flair, Booker T, Scott Steiner, Lex Luger & Bret Hart. He had matches with them
@user-zp7cm1ub2l5 жыл бұрын
Bro as a kid I remember most of his matches being short. And his record being 187wins with no defeats, until the match with nash . His whole career could be watched during HHH promo . Dont get me wrong I like his gimmick and believe that he had some off the coolest moves but majority of his matches max 45 seconds . I was their for his Survivor Series return in Toronto against Brock Lesnar lol 368 dollars for 8 seconds

Even though you can go back and see the DRASTIC changes the dudes body started making. Same as Mamoa or whatever, you go back and look at all his B movie roles or even what he looked like on Stargate Atlantis. Then see him in Conan and Aquaman, YEA BRAH S'ALL NATTY. Um Nope lol.

The Rock is a big name, that's not really a bridge you want to burn. When it comes to fighters though, Joe doesn't give af, Roy Jones, Aldo, Cyborg etc, he'll blatantly accuse them of being on peds. I mean shit the guy even says that Trump is on drugs, if Trump cared enough he could probably sue his ass
@TheMendo1234 жыл бұрын
@Evyatar Hadar I think joe accuses trump of being on speed not peds. Joe just states things sometimes as being fact though instead of just opinion. That's where I can see him getting into trouble one day

I saw Goldberg at a club in Vegas in 2004, what was obvious was his width at shoulder , and thickness at the neck area...an easy 290... Intimidating... Thick hands...deep voice. Super nice and generous talking to fans... Denis Rodman was there with an Entourage , he said hi, he knew what's up...

I appreciate that even though Joe doesn't like wrestling, at least he respects how hard it is on people's bodies. Like I started training when I was 18 years old my dad wrestled when I was a kid locally so I was brought up around it and I didn't really like it until I went to the eighth grade and for some reason I started watching it and then 3 and 1/2 years later I'm training. just a couple weeks after my 18th birthday. I'm 33 years old now, I don't wrestle anywhere near as much as the guys on TV and I have cervical spinal stenosis, two bulging discs are ruptured disc, arthritis, and wedging at t123. Everything before the wedging is in my cervical spine only. I haven't gotten any MRIs done anywhere else but literally the entire day I'm moving my shoulders and my neck because I'm constantly hurting. I'm so uncomfortable all the f****** time it looks like I'm tweaking out because I get these little cramps. And part of that is that I used to do bodybuilding and then I will get out of shape and then I'll get back in really good shape and then I'll get out of shape so when I get fat like I am right now haha it is really hard on my body. not to mention after coronavirus, I pretty much took a year off of the gym and was just eating junk. And now I'm back in the gym twice a day, so everything hurts so bad. I can't lift heavy, I have to watch my heart rate because I'm so out of any type of good condition. They were prescribing me painkillers at 27 years old. I just quit them recently and it f****** sucks. Like I don't crave them anymore but I hurt so f****** bad that some nights like I can't even take it. I have to go get into my hot tub at 4:00 in the morning just so I can get a couple hours sleep. But when I drop the weight and I start stretching and doing more to loosen up everything, I start to feel better. But it beats your body to shit and it fucking sucks. the one benefit that the guys on TV have, especially these days is that they're doing different types of exercises that are better for taking that kind of abuse and not getting injured quite as much. plus when you do it every night your body gets used to it. It's when you just do it here and there when you get hurt. Like I rarely got hurt bad when I was wrestling all the time. And I'd say every other match right now I hurt something. It's not anything too big usually but one was my neck and that was a big one. It's the most fun I've ever had. I've played baseball and football and wrestled in high school and I played soccer and it's the hardest thing I've ever done and the most fun. Obviously it's not MMA you're not going to get cold cock and knocked out most of the time but the hardest I've ever been hit in my life has been from one of my friends giving me a forearm in a match. Literally one of my best friends, hit me harder in a match than I've ever been hit in a fist fight. And I got rocked once in a fist fight. It didn't drop me but my friends forearm did. I know that people don't respect it and that's their prerogative. I mean I love stuntman and I love actors and that's what wrestling is. It's a live, mostly improv, stunt show. But I'm a little scared to see how bad my body is going to be in 20 years. Cuz like I said I'm only 33 now and 50 is not going to be good to me

Thank you Joe for showing love for Pro wrestling, as a life long wrestling fan I never knew how joe felt about pro wrestling but for him to show love thats dope. I know its scripted and not all the punches and kicks are real but those guys bust their asses and slam each other and jump off shit & create amazing characters for our entertainment and I think people fail to realize that.

One reason he never got hurt as much as other wrestlers is because his wrestling character rarely got beat. He got to run thru most of the guys he got matched with. Wasn’t much back and forth as other guys.
@factz10055 жыл бұрын
Nah he rarely showed his personality. He could've been as big as steve Austin maybe. The Rock is a certifiable MC.
@faz68774 жыл бұрын
No way Goldberg had the mic skills to touch Austin. He was incredible squashing people for a year straight, but eventually there has to be more to that character. When the streak ended it was never the same. Compared to Austin who can grab a microphone at anytime and own the crowd, not to mention have a great wrestling match. Goldberg has a very respectable place in wrestling history, but what are all the classic Goldberg matches that would earn him a place next to Austin?
@factz10054 жыл бұрын
@@faz6877 I would say in hype he could've matched up eventually. Work wise they weren't comparable. So no I agree there's no Goldberg matches that could live up to Austin.
