I like when people crush their barbs, it increases the survival rate and is good for the sport. Some barbs are just way bigger than they should be anyway. That is much safer for the angler also. That looks like so much fun!

Hi John , Love your videos. Can you speak about beach surf fishing etiquette- how to approach a line up, etc. thanks for all the great videos
@JohnSkinnerFishing2 жыл бұрын
I try so hard to avoid other people, but sometimes it's impossible when albies are on the beach. Before stepping into a lineup, observe and know what you're getting into. This video here was the one time in years that I felt like I was stepping into a lineup of guys I don't know personally. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jmLbaoJ_drJnec0 I did however recognize their skill level and judged that I left plenty of room, and everyone fished comfortably. Any less room than this and I'm walking down the beach until I'm away from everyone. Good question.

You inspired me to jump in the boat this morning and head west of Orient. Lots of albies swimming on their sides with mouths open vacuuming up bait and creating a small wake. First time I’ve seen them feed this way. Wild. Caught a few then headed back under storm clouds. Let’s see what happens after the blow tonight.
