Welcome to the mid-season hype wave of the season. This is coming right on time. Every Lakers season starts with hype from the summer. Then falls flat at the start. Coach gets pressure. Then there is a comeback (we're here now). Next we will see a slump right before the trade deadline ends and pressure to make a trade. Then after that, we will see another burst from the Lakers. trade rui for who? do yall watch the game rui does a lot of the dirty work for this team. who fills that or quite frankly who is big enough to fill it. rui often gaurds wings, guards and centers. often helping lebron and ad from physical match ups. yall lakers fans always under value that and how hard it is to find that. even vando is more of a guard defender and smaller wing defender. dfs is the same. cam johnson the same. kuz as well. although kuz is the closets to a replacement but he cant shoot at all

If the FO will not make a trade this season, forget about LeBron, they are wasting and not investing on Anthony Davis. I will not trust them on a rebuild. Remember, the Lakers were rebuilding for 4 years prior to LeBron, and at that time they don't have a plan on what they're doing and what the team looks like. They even traded Zu for Muscala, after paying the likes of Mozgov and an aging Luol Deng massive deals. So for people thinking about the future, the Lakers are good at drafting lower 1st rounds to upper 2nd rounders, and but lacks in Development Staff (Lonzo's shot was fixed by the Pelicans in just 2 seasons, NOT the Lakers). Lakers also have NO Pro-Scouting Department. Meaning the have College Scouts but lacks knowledge about the players LEAGUE wide, hence they only know familiar names per team, not role players. Coz they do not care about role players when the league is saying otherwise - coz Basketball is a TEAM SPORT.
