Lidl is a LOT like Aldi (which i know you do have over in the states now). In england they are both famous for "The middle isle" All up and down the other isles in the shop, you get normal stuff such as bread, milk, vegetables, meat, pringles, chocolate bars, fizzy pop, beer. But then you hit the middle isle and everything changes. You want wellington boots, crocs, fuzzy slippers, they have it.. You want a new set of drill bits or an electric screw driver with 32 magnetic changable tips, they got it. You want a cheap and cheerful laptop or mediocre graphics tablet, they got it. You want a garden patio set, complete with parasol or a mig welder that has questionable build quality, they got it Lidl and Aldi are the only shops you can go into to buy "Bread, cheese and sliced ham" But come out with " Pickled herring, an anvil, goat oil and a purple 2 man tent".
