He was Chelsea's most creative player for years. Every time Mata had the ball, he would make something happen. His free kick against Utd was technical excellence at its peak. His inch perfect through ball assists were quality. I remember prime Mata running rings around Yaya Toure and dribbling for fun. Great player and a legend of the game.
